I was never a charcoal purest, but I was someone who preferred charcoal over gas. I still probably do, but now I'm more interested in getting the food cooked then the process of setting up a charcoal grill. Gas trumps charcoal on convenience 10 times over. Now I don't even have a charcoal grill, just my gas Weber, gas Blackstone, and gas smoker.

FWIW, this purchase is still alive and kicking. I’ve replace the grill plates and burners once. Easily worth the money and a great compliment to my Weber kettle and offset smoker.
