Andrew Luck Retires

Filed to ESPN: Andrew Luck has informed the Colts he is retiring from the NFL, per source. There will be a press conference Sunday to make it official, but Luck is mentally worn down, and now checking out.

At least we got the satisfaction of knocking his ass out of the playoffs last year. Payback for the huge blown lead in Indy game. Wonder if the Colts will consider Kaepernick?

That wouldn’t surprise me either. If things get difficult without Brown, I could see him getting frustrated and being done.

**** off. Of course you're sugar coating your team's tanking plan. They came out on top. Therefore, in your mind it was legitimate in every way. Had your team "accidentally" fallen into 2-14 the following year, you would have been ****ing around with Eric Fisher. Then we'd REALLY see if your suckage was legitimate or not. Oh wait, it wouldn't, because Indy never would have let Manning walk!

What's going to happen now? After a year of Jacoby Brisset not getting the job done, what's going to happen? You'll trade for a shitty backup? Because you couldn't just get the best NFL-ready QB since the last guy you drafted at #1 overall? Who happened to be the best NFL-ready QB since the guy before HIM who was drafted at #1 overall? And let me guess... that guy "just won't cut it" either. But he'll be so bad you'll wind up with Trevor Lawrence. Ah... geez... Colts just can't catch a break, ya know?

Asterisks, man. Your team was nothing but asterisks and was always going to be asterisks until Luck left. No team or fanbase respected you. At least now you can build a team up the LEGITIMATE way.

That is, unless your team decides to once again throw up their arms and say, "WELP THIS IS HARD TO GET WINS. I GUESS WE REALLY SUCK. #1 PICK FOR US I SUPPOSE."

Sacrifice? Football made him a rich man.

He knew what he signed up for.

Is is certainly his right to go out on his own terms.

It is the season ticket holder's right to boo him for making them watch Jacoby ****in' Brissett.

The customer is never wrong.

Meanwhile....

Whatever man. “I really really hate them and their luck so they TANKED” is what this reads like.

Believe whatever you want. That doesn’t make it true.

The old "blow 4 million dollars signing the corpse of Kerry Collins, losing 14 games in a humiliating fashion which results in our losing our jobs in order that our replacements can draft Luck" plan.

Now you see why Bull Polian is in the Hall of Fame.

97 mill can sooth his pain and he grew up rich anyway. Feeling sorry the the filthy rich is insane. Football also got him a hot wife that his cave man looking ass would have never got.

The AFC has been blown wide open for the Chiefs.

We legitimately have a shot to go to 5+ Super Bowls with Mahomes. The current biggest long term threat didn’t even make the playoffs last year (Cleveland).

The rules will continue to change to favor the QBs, which will continue to favor us.

It’s our time, boys.
