I agree with the gist of this. I do think, however, that it is entirely possible that AR is on board with the idea of running more, knows he needs to run the ball more and actually will make an initial effort to do so. But, ultimately he’ll revert to type. It’s just who he is.

Hope I’m wrong and the old is actually going to learn a new trick but, I ain’t about to put any money on it.

I don't think he's on board with running more. I think he's on board with the idea that linebackers don't bite on play action against us, and you have to punish them for that. It's found money.

The other person who needs to do that is Mahomes when they are running RPOs.

I thought he was surprisingly frank and honest.

They thought they could sign Hill, then they couldn't, they had to change course in a short amount of time and did a solid job.

I don't know if they picked the absolute best players they could have but they picked a whole lot of good players. There's a lot of potential in this draft class and this is likely the best job of getting value in the draft in the last 15 years.
