What is your car/truck (combined) MPG
With the price of gas going sky high I was wondering what everyones car/truck (combined) MPG was.
You can find it at this web site. http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/findacar.htm My Ford Thunderbird sucks at 19 MPG |

22/31......2004 VW Passat.
My experience has been that the highway numbers are dead on, while I usually get closer to 23/24 when I drive my car to school only, (no highway) and drive my fiancee's everywhere else. Her 2003 Toyota Highlander gets 18/22. |

2005 Mercedes ML350 SUV
Fuel Type - Premium Gasoline MPG (city) 15 MPG (highway) 18 MPG (combined)16 These are bogus numbers for Los Angeles traffic. I'm lucky if I get 10 MPG and it cost $62.90 to fill up yesterday, though I used good ol' 87 octane. Mercedes recommends Premium, but all I've noticed with Premium is that my wallet is lighter. The wife has a 2004 Lexus RX330 though next year, she'll get a hybrid. Supposedly, the Hybrid's aren't getting much better mileage than the regular version, but it's supposed to get better each year. |
