I don't deny that, if I were blackbob, I'd probably say the same thing. However, several people here have already expressed their doubts that I am blackbob, due to grammar and such. I can assure you, I am not. However, if you can find some incontrovertible proof that I am Blackbob, I'll let you publicly flog me at the Chiefs training facility. Fair enough? If, however, you cannot find said proof, you let me make a signature for you to use for ONE (1) year.

Deal?

You're trolling bro, clearly. You aren't allowed to have an opinion that goes against the "mass" belief as far as this team is concerned in this city.

I don't even know why this continues. Reid will draft Geno and try to bring in a backup QB whose name doesn't rhyme with prick. Done deal, next chapter.

I know I'm going to get destroyed for saying this, but I really think that Aaron Murray is the hidden gem in this draft. The guy is extremely comparable to Drew Brees.

Has a very strong arm, goes through his reads, has a good pocket presence, athletic, played well vs good defenses.

This guy was 4 yards away from beating the best defense in college football. Yeah he's 6'1", but who the **** cares? He's like an inch short of the prototypical QB requirement for QB's. Put spikes on him and he's fine.

Would not be surprised to see this guy starting in KC next year. Watch his game tape. The kid is ****ing good. He's just as good as anybody in this class. The fact that he put up great numbers in the hardest conference is insane.

As I've said before... there isn't a doubt in my mind that Reid goes with Geno Smith. I could see Holmgren, on the other hand, going after a guy like Tyler Wilson or Aaron Murray. That's not an insult to Holmgren. He can get these guys to be cerebral QBs in ways no other coach can. But I bring Holmgren up partly because I have a man crush on him, but also because I think when you contrast his style with Reid's, you can see why Reid goes with Geno.

Reid wants athletes he can turn into technical perfectionists who make good decisions. Holmgren goes for QBs he can mold mentally.

I like Murray a lot. I thought he could have been the top QB in this draft, but he just did not get any better with Georgia. There's just something a little too robotic in his mechanics right now. I think that's largely on coaching, not his ability. Which is a shame. He'll do well in the NFL, but only if surrounded by the right coaching, because he's got a long way to go.

The other question I have is confidence. When the game matters most, I don't think he trusts himself. I don't see the swagger in him that I'd like. Maybe as he gets better, those problems disappear. Or maybe he's just never going to be a confident QB.

I don't like Murray better than Tyler Wilson, or Geno Smith, but I have been saying for a while now that he's going to go in the top half of the first round. I could see him going top ten or higher even. I'm not sure why people on this board are so down on him.

Yeah, you are a complete ****ing moron.
All I will say about your style is that you are the king of "out of context".

Your are as much, if not more, of a ****ing moron. I'd like to continue this discussion but you miss every other word. You may want to think you are articulate, you're not. You may want to think you are in tune with what the Chiefs want to do, you're not. You may think you are a god of sorts, again you're not. What you are is an arrogant, self centered moron.

Don't let me get under your skin probably too late. But from your range of comments too late also.

Enjoy the things you don't understand and keep making commentary about the chiefs that will never come about.

WHAT IF, you had any common sense? Doesn't seem like that's going to happen any time soon.

For cryin' out loud already.

As to the quarterback situation, I think Bob Uecker said it best. "If you're gonna hit a dinger, you gotta be a swinger." I like Geno, but will be comfortable with their decision. I just want to see e serious attempt to draft and develop a QB. No retreads.

As to the quoted poster.

I'm sure that in real life you a fine, upstanding, honest, kind, decent, all-around genuine nice guy. I'm sure you have many friends, associates and aquaintences that will agree with me. I am also sure you are kind to your mother.

From where I'm sitting, it sure smells like you and BlackBob at the very least use the same aftershave.

I will share with you some of what I know about SAUTO in real life.

My first contact with him was here at CP when I finished "following the manual" shadetreeing my way through putting new head gaskets on my truck. It wouldn't start. He told me OVER THE PHONE how to fix it. I learned many things about him that day. One of which is not only can he follow the manual, he can write one that's easier to understand than the one I had that was published by the vehicle manufacturer.

I met him in person the first time when one minor little detail I overlooked when I finished the head gasket job cost me a ride in the towtruck to his shop. Two mechanic shops in town on the way to his sat empty. Not a car at the place. SAUTO's place was surrounded by cars for two or three blocks. Both lifts full and nothing but assholes and elbows. I knew I was at the right place.

He has several certs on his wall as well as the usual business stuff everybody has up there. The two reasons I can't tell you exactly what they are, are, ignorance and apathy.

I am not comfortable divulging personal info about another person. I suppose I can offer a personal opinion.SAUTO is easily one of the finest people I have ever met. There are many reasons I feel that way. One stands above all others. He has taken on a responsibility that very few have the strength or resolve to comprehend, let alone square their shoulders and do a commendable job.

As far as Tuesday at his shop, my advice is don't go. I have met MOHillbilly as well as SAUTO. My feeling is I would hate to upset either one of them. If you do meet SAUTO, show up empty handed. Anything you bring can and most likely will be put somewhere it will not fit.

Do you draft a #1 at QB and sit him on the bench to season him? Where would Troy Aikman have gone if that was the way the Cowboys had of done that? What about RGIII? Sit him for a year or two? Andrew Luck? Sit him out?

The Chiefs don't have a viable QB for all intents and purposes. They have the opportunity to get as much data on any QB that is going to be up for the draft, is this draft class heavy with top flight QB's? I've said no it isn't and next years group looks to be better on paper and the old school guys here say that Geno is the guy they want. With no QB on the roster worth putting in the game it would be stupid of Reid to draft him and put him in cold storage for a couple of seasons so he can "season". If he goes one year and is 0-16 or a little better can you justify keeping him or do you move on? At least with Aikman the first year must have taught him something, he had a pretty good run afterwards.

I've been meaning to get up there to meet the guy, just haven't done it. Now that I have some more time on my hands, I'm going to have to make it a point to do that.

I don't know who you've been reading, but most people in the Geno Smith thread have been saying draft the guy and start him immediately. Cassel's ass is gone, Quinn only signed a one year deal. Stanzi's the only guy who will be around next year... I wonder who will win that training camp battle.
