The outside shooters really had nothing to do with it. The zone defence was so ridiculous that none of them were ever open to shoot. They literally had 4 defenders hugging the 3pt line at all times. That loss was solely on Vick (or Self for not taking Vick out of the middle of the zone and putting someone else capable of playing 2 on 1 basketball within 5 feet).

Really? We had plenty of open shots to start that we missed, then they went into a shell and didn't even try to get open.

I'd be surprised if Nebraska lost this game myself. This soft KU team hasn't shown any reason lately to make me think they can handle this kind of hostile environment, especially Svi and Vick.
