MCU - Movies vs TV

I absolutely love all the Marvel movies but cannot even begin to get into the tv series. I was thrilled for Agents of Shield with Coulson but I found it to be completely unwatchable as was Agent Carter. The production value on these seem... barely there. I don't know if that is because my brain is trying to compare them to the movies or if it really is garbage.

Going to try the new X-Men based show "The Gifted" and see if that has anything to offer.

Anyone else feel this way? Does Luke Cage, Iron First, or any of those Netflix MCU shows have any redeeming value?

Daredevil was probably the best one. It's a legitimately good show but definitely feels small scale compared to the MCU.

Jessica Jones was surprisingly good.

Luke Cage was just OK.

Not a big fan of the Netflix ones but I did like The Punisher. Luke Cage just sucks along with the Iron Fist.

It will be interesting if Avengers 4 retcons the entire MCU TV universe

I'm still a big fan of Agents of Shield. It's corny, but well done. Agent Carter was a little slow. Daredevil was really good. I liked Luke Cage a lot more than most people. Jessica Jones is alright, but the actress is a little whiny sometimes. Iron Fist sucked hard.

The Gifted was just OK. A few interesting characters. The Inhumans was really awful. I didn't make it through the first season of that shitfest.

SHIELD just bores me to tears. I've tried twice to get into it and just can't.

I watched two eps of Legion and just didn't dig it either.

That said I loved all the Netflix shows other than Iron Fist. Hell, the Punisher could be completely removed from the MCU (no super heroes in it) since nothing in there is any more outlandish than any other action film/series.

I hate all the cable series. Just boring.

As for Netflix, for it to make the most sense, you should watch them in this order:
1) DD, S1
2) JJ, S1
3) DD, S2
4) LC, S1
5) IF, S1 (Just skip this, it's god awful)
6) Defenders, S1
7) Punisher, S1
8) JJ, S2
9) LC, S2 (upcoming)

This order takes into account timeline and character crossovers.

Comcast is trying to undo the agreement made by Disney for Fox's assets. Please god, don't let Comcast get ahold of Fox's assets, I can't handle anymore subpar Fantastic 4 or Xmen movies.

Agents of SHIELD suffered during its first season primarily due to the hydra reveal in Civil War. After that point, it got both markedly and steadily better. But you can basically skip 3/4 of season 1.

Everything but Iron Fist is pretty good on Netflix, with the Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Punisher seasons being the best of the lot.

The Gifted was okay. We'll see how it goes.

Legion is great, but it's not at all like the others. It's very slow and internal.

the actors that play Iron Fist & Luke Cage are cringeworthy bad imo . But I'll give some credit to the actors that play The Punisher (badass mofo) , Daredevil & Jessica Jones ( God I wanna bang her !)
The Defenders was so awful mainly due to the rushed feel of it and some awful dialogue & delivery from Iron Fist/Cage.

The movies can also be a bit hit or miss imo . The IM sequels sucked balls and I felt the Thor sequels were a big time missed opportunity to do something special . Instead Thor Fragglerock or whatever the **** it was called was turned into a slap stick comedy .

I'd say the best films are the Cap films.

this! Punisher too. The broadcast TV shows are shit along with the crap Iron Fist. The Defenders was okay but underwhelmed me.

Jessica Jones season 2 wasn't as good as season 1 mainly due to the villain being not as good as Tennant's Killgrave.

I'm so tired of almost all MCU content. One of the few I've liked recently was Jessica Jones 1, but 2 was a big disappointment to me.
