I dont really get why people are so hard on Clay.

When you hear something from someone and you relay what you heard, its not a guarantee. Its just something someone heard (possibly close to the Chiefs org.) So take it for what its worth, not to the bank.

I appreciate him sharing what hes heard. I expect it to sometimes be right and sometimes not. If it looks like Mahomes is playing to everyone but then Andy decides to sit him at the last minute then only Andy knows, right?

No, no no. He absolutely perceives it that way.

It only sways AFTER the fact. After he's either been shown wrong, or he has to confront his undeniably wrong info.

After the Marty debacle, after months of telling us to trust Marty, and his now need to remove himself from Marty (bad friend) that's all the info you need to know that his judgement on "sources" is weak at best.

Just look at the Hill injury thread. It's clear as the San Diego sky that his "source" was thinking broken collarbone and gave your typical broken collarbone timeline prediction. Which was the easy, obvious call because again, that's what most of us, and most in the media had already been reporting and feared.

Hell, the 1st post in the thread was Cave Johnson saying some shit like, "I just posted this 30 minutes ago" (regarding a broken collarbone).

And well....we all know how that turned out....

Im just sayin'.....idc that you post your shit, but people should know your real batting average is like .100 if we're being generous.

The videos are great except I'd like to see one where Mahomes actually planted his foot and changed direction. Maybe fake a handoff and roll out. I'd feel a lot better about the whole thing if I could see that.

That video is definitely encouraging to see. Just looks stiff still. Whether he plays or sits I just hope the trainers and staff make the right decision.

He didn't make a hard plant but that was something better than anything else we've seen till this point. I'll assume that in the closed parts of practice Mahomes is doing a lot more than these videos show if does play. Also I said fake a handoff and roll out not make a handoff.
