Re-writing some of our common expressions
Just so we're on the same page, we need to change a few expressions around here going forward.


"To the ship!" is now "Back to the ship!"

"Print 'em!" is now "Reprint 'em!"

"Because Chiefs" is now "Because Chiefs". (That one changes in nuance only, but it's an important change.)

Feel free to add others.

I got a notice yesterday of a dance program for girls, and I had to chuckle about it. The word 'girls' had an asterisk, and at the bottom of the page it had a definition that 'girls' included biological girls, trans girls, a couple of other terms along those lines, and something like gender indeterminate. I don't remember the specific language, but it was funny to me. If you're trying that hard to be inclusive, shouldn't you just let boys come too if they want?
