No!!! Scho63 just posted a pic of a similar Yukon and said it got wrecked! THE Yukon sold for $24k+/-. For all the crap, it WAS a fine vehicle. But I sure as hell won't make that mistake again. I have too many other, more creative mistakes to make here.

One thing I noticed when looking at cars was that their price usually started higher than a lot of other dealers that did "allow" haggling. So I stayed away from them except for once.
I was looking for a somewhat limited car at the time, and they had one. There were others, but a bit further away. I showed the salesperson that they were by far the highest price, and asked them if they could come down a bit. Hard no. I said "you would rather me leave than offer anything?" He just said the prices were set and there was nothing he could do. I left and never considered them again. If I see a "Carmax" logo on the back of someone's car, I immediately decide that person is a sucker.

I’ve bought my last 2 cars from them. First was a 2008 328i 2 door. It was over 40K new and I got it for 21K with 19,000 miles, 100,000 mile warranty. Current is a 2017 eco boost mustang. It had 28,000 miles on it, 22K with 100,000 mile warranty.
I have used the warranty on both and always had a rental car by the end of the day they pay for. Yea I could have gotten a better price but I had it all setup to where I was in the office for maybe 2 hours and I was out the door in my new car. You pay for the convince. |

And even if it was, it wouldn't be discussed until after the price for the new car was set. Carmax sticks by the "no haggle", even when being showed the same car with lower prices nearby.

I’ve bought 3 new vehicles the last 2 years and probably spent 1 hour total in the dealership. |

Must be some stupid people that buy there then. Like I said, theres always room unless they allowed the previous person too much on the trade for that vehicle.

I always lay my price down and have to threaten to walk out or even walk out. It's part of the process, would rather haggle than overpay at least grossly.

Back in 2006 we bought a 2005 Dakota truck from them. They will not haggle. They claim the "price is their lowest price they can go".....the only reason we bought the truck was because they WERE lower than any other dealer.

Of course they want to get out the pen and paper and say what do you want to pay per month? My answer is always 0. They bring in the sales manager and again I tell them This what I want and this is what I am willing to pay. Yes or No? Its worked a couple of times. I always think I am offering a fair price. |

Besides, the dealerships I deal with know I know my shit when it comes to money/prices. They come at me with their best shot right off because they know I’m not messing around with the dance. |
