Would you replace Pioli, Romeo and Cassel with AJ, Norf and Rivers?

Having no other option for the next 3 years, would you swap GM, HC and QB with the cHargers or stay the course?
BTW - This is a spin off of DarthPioliSatan's "Haters" thread.

Cruz is actually good, though.

Guys like Eddie Royal are not.

Well yeah. To discount Eli's influence on his success is silly. Great QBs take mediocre WRs and help turn them into elite guys.

I kid you not, someone told me he was going to be a 1,000 yd WR this year.

Look, there is a clear difference in Rivers since the talent dropoff in SD.

It's not rocket science.

The guy is a top 10 QB, period.

You can't name 10 better QBs.

That isn't the argument.

The argument seems to be "Rivers can't lead a team to a SB."

Yes he can.

Dude can shoot the ears off a gundark at 30 yards.

I think Rivers could make Baldwin look good. When he was playing well all he would do is throw screens to LT/Sproles and jump balls to Gates and Jackson. He literally would just chuck it up and let VJ go up and get it.

Once the talent around Rivers left he started showing what he really is... a barely above average QB.

What?

Your argument was "Rivers > Manning".

Even if the skill positions were used right, rivers is just another slow death.

Manning is the reigning champ who's had a few bad games, but rivers, the big overgrown kid who always finds a way to lose... is someone you want to move ahead with?

Rivers would be the most King Carliest band-aid type signing EVER.

No he's not.

He's a legit franchise QB.

Mediocre "slow death" QBs don't have career QB ratings of 95.0.

Do you think this list is an accident?

I didn't realize Rodgers was only 28. Christ, he could keep going another 6 or 7 years at the level he's playing now.

Remember that chart I threw up showing Cassel's closest comparisons in NFL history?

Here are Rivers.'

He's not just in good company...he's in rare, ELITE company.

And if the Chargers reassemble a decent team around him now (instead of shit dicks like Jared Gaither and Eddie Royal), he WILL win a SB.
