Couldn't disagree with you more. Nothing personal of course. We were desperate and signed Parker. Parker was desperate to get paid but he doesn't have "the edge" anymore and his play since has proved it; avoiding tackles and being out of position time after time getting burnt. I.E. to LDT, you don't screw with what "ain't broke" and remember LDT is somewhat out of game shape and Wylie is a lot nastier than LDT IMHO. Cohesion/chemistry are everything when it comes to o-line play.

Parker could be getting the Spiller treatment. It's not like someone is going to pick him up and if it turns out that they need another safety before the game (or the SB) they can just re-sign him.

The downside is he can't practice but I'm not sure that would make a difference in how he plays.
