I've never purchased a PPV event, but I would seriously consider this.

My favorite Cruise film is probably Last Samurai, although I've really enjoyed a lot of his films over the years, from Taps to Edge of Tomorrow. Like others have stated, I can separate Tom Cruise the actor from Tom Cruise the cultist weirdo. And, to his credit, he doesn't rant and rave and piss and moan about politics (unlike many of the Marvel assholes), or tell me that I suck because I don't support whatever he supports, and he wisely doesn't hop up and down on interviewers' couches anymore. Whatever he does in his personal life has nothing to do with me. He stars in movies which I find to be entertaining, and I pay to be entertained. Works for me.

As for this Bieber idiot, I know who he is, and I know he's a singer of some sort, but I couldn't name a single one of his songs, and if I've ever heard one, I didn't realize it. So if they fight, I hope Cruise twists him into a pretzel and then serves him up as a snack to Xenu.

I believe you are the only person on this planet who not only doesn't like the MI franchise but who was actively 'soured' on Tom Cruise by it.

Holy shit that franchise delivers. It's been better than Bond for the last 25 years.

My problem with Mission Impossible dates back to the first film, and the fact that I liked the TV show when I was a kid.

They made Jim Phelps the bad guy. **** that. I just couldn't get past it. It would be like making Hogan's Heroes a movie, and at the end Colonel Hogan ends up being a gestapo mole and Newkirk kills him and saves the day.

I never watched another MI movie after that. Has nothing to do with Cruise.
