PFF Mock Draft Simulator

Just got an email about this, I know the general consensus is people don't like PFF but the draft machine for free on there has trades and other functionality (I only just started playing with it, no one was willing to trade for the Chiefs pick at 32 according to the simulator)

Looks like you can do big boards that are non PFF related if you hate their gradings etc, if I understand correctly what the options are saying. Looks way less pretty than draftnetwork but better than that ontheclock one.

I decided to be everybody's friend, so I took every trade down that was offered.

The Dolphins offered me 39 and 70 for 32, so I took it.

The Redskins then offered me 66, 108, and 142 for 39, so I took it.

The Cardinals then offered me 72 and 114 for 63, so I took it.

The Eagles then offered me 103, 127, and 145 for 66, so I took it.

The 49ers then offered me 156 and 176 for 145, so I took it.

I ended up with these guys for a score of 77.8.

70 KC Akeem Davis-Gaither LB Appalachian State
72 KC Clyde Edwards-Helaire RB LSU
96 KC Raekwon Davis DI Alabama
103 KC Ben Bredeson G Michigan
108 KC Antonio Gibson RB Memphis
114 KC Donovan Peoples-Jones WR Michigan
127 KC Jonathan Greenard ED Florida
138 KC Javaris Davis CB Auburn
142 KC Josh Love QB San Jose State
156 KC Jabari Zuniga ED Florida
176 KC Michael Ojemudia CB Iowa
177 KC Khaleke Hudson LB Michigan

My draft really didn't work out how I would've liked...I traded back with Cleveland at the end of the first and picked up the 41st and 115th pick.

41) Noah Igbionoghene, CB, Auburn
63) JK Dobbins, RB, Ohio State
96) Jeremy Chinn, S/LB, Southern Illinios
115) Logan Thomas, LB, Wyoming
138) Collin Johnson, WR, Texas
177) Solomon Kindley, G, Georgia

While the draft didn't play out how I liked, I still think it has the potential to be exciting. I would've liked to have taken an IOL in the first 3 rounds. Also, I ideally would've picked up one of the more athletic LB's who can play well in coverage, but also be decent against the run. They all went before my pick at 63, so I improvised and took JK at 63 and took a combination of Chinn + Thomas to compensate for not picking up an LB at 63.

I think Noah has the potential to be a future top tier CB. He's still learning the position after being a converted WR.

JK Dobbins has the potential to be a monster in this offense.

I like Jeremy Chinn to replace Sorenson and is one of those smart picks dynasties make to save cap space.

I'm not a big fan of Logan Wilson in coverage, but he's a smart and physical linebacker who won't make many mental mistakes. He feels like a guy that can eventually be Anthony Hitchens replacement.

There was talk of Collin Johnson being a top 50 pick if he came out last season. Injuries held him back this year, but he's the son of a former all-pro and he has good movement for a bigger guy. He's a very poor man's Larry Fitzgerald. Not a burner, but knows how to get open.

Solomon Kindley is a guy who I think could be successful in our system. If he loses some weight, I think he could be a serviceable guard.
