Security line getting into the stadium

Anyone else have an issue getting to there seats on time last night. Took us around an hour to get through the security line last night. Missed the biggest pregame of my life. I have never seen it take that long to get people into the stadium. Anyone else have any issues?

The whole experience sucks.
I don't know if there really is a way to solve getting out of the parking lot with the way the streets are laid out in the area. There's only a handful of ways out.

I got in line at 4 and was in my seat by 5.

You were playing with fire if you got in line later. Your choice to be a fan who tailgates too long.

It's gotten continually worse. Used to be safe if you got in line an hour before kickoff. Now I agree you need to get in line closer to an hour and a half to be safe. We actually must've found the best gate because we didn't really get in line until about 4:50, but made it to seats in time for intro and anthem.

Also recommend when you get in line, go for somewhere in the middle. People tend to walk up and clog the outer lines. This also kind of commits them to a particular x-ray station, whereas the middle has multiple stations.

Yeah, most of us were hopeful we would come away with a lot of great memories that we didn't want to be clouded or lost by alcohol. My group made up for it after the game.

Going to the middle is always my strategy. Learned that lesson last year. If it were up to me I'd be in there when the gates open but I have other responsibilities with my friends with teardown first. I was honestly surprised we had it all down and in line with an hour to spare. Should have been more than enough. It was no issue last week.

I thought it looked big from the ground. Damn, way worse than I thought.

It's there a timestamp on that picture?

Can’t find one. My cousin got it from twitter but I can’t find the source. Judging by the fact is still daylight I’m guessing 430 neighborhood. We hit that gate at 415, line wasn’t that bad but we went to another gate, were in about 5:15. It’s really getting bad.

All the entrances looked like that when they were doing the aerial views during the pregame.

The bottom line is that 60 min prior to kick, you have to decide would you rather drink cheap beer in the lot and probably miss the pre-game stuff, or get in early and pay big $$$ for beers.
Sounds like a feature, not a bug.

What a mess getting in and out of the lot yesterday. No real issues getting into the stadium, but the traffic flow is a disgrace. Hire a few humans to play traffic cop for exiting too, not just for getting parked.
