same GM traded

Gallen and Alcantra for Ozuna. A total shit for brains trade. They have the 4th and 5th best ERA in MLB.

This year the GM traded for pitching and it’s worked out so far. If he hadn’t traded those two, we wouldn’t need pitching in 2022.

I still say our GM sucks.

I thought there was no way we had a chance at the bye. Now it’s 5.5 with 30-31 games left. They sweep the Mets, a bye is still within reach.

A month ago we were 4 games behind the Brewers. Now we are up 8.5. Shit can change fast.

Mozeliak traded peanuts for Goldschmidt and Arenado.

Edman is one of the best 2B/SS in the game.

Mozeliak is good at doing his job and making his bosses happy. Most of why I've had problems with him really come down to edicts from DeWitt.

Ozuna trade was a miss and looks awful, but at the time many people wanted him and Stanton blocked a trade to St. Louis as well as Yelich not being on the market. Pitching was also viewed as an area of strength vs now.

Pitching problems stem from Flaherty being injury prone in addition to FO (whether it be DeWitt or Mozeliak or a combination) refusing to spend on SP in the offseason.

I don't hate the Matz signing (he's injury prone af), but the fact that he was the only move made on top of injury histories with Mikolas, Wainwirght, and Flaherty was stupid.
