So according to ChiefsWire, the Chiefs brought in a pair of DEs/OLBs for a look yesterday, Nate Orchard and Terrence Fede. Orchard actually was a member of the Chiefs at one time, but has most recently spent time with the Dolphins. In four preseason games, Orchard recorded seven total tackles including four sacks, and during the preseason was considered their best pass rusher. He was cut before the 53-man roster, possibly in relation to Miami's plan to tank earlier this season.

I have no recent info on Fede, perhaps someone could help fill the blanks.

So the question is simple: do we like either of these guys?

I've been worried about the DE position ever since Okafor went down. We were carrying 4 at the start of the season and now we're down to Clark and Kpass with Jones filling in. Ogbah is out for the year and Okafor may or may not be effective when he comes back. Signing a DE for the rest of the season is a no-brainer.

Can’t argue with adding D-lineman who’s last name begins with “O”. Seems to work for us.
