Chiefs -9 1/2 vs. Houston -- WHAAAAAAT?

The early Stardust line came out and they listed the Chiefs as 9 1/2-point favorites. I don't know if they think that the betting public is going to be all over KC because they are "due" or something like that but I just don't get this number after the way we played these last two games -- ecsp. the Carolina game. Houston hasn't shown anything either but this line should be less, IMO...

My line is chiefs by 1 1/2 points. Tynes wins it in the final seconds by hitting half a field goal.

That's the ONLY way they get any action on this game this week....it'll come down as the week goes by....probably 6 1/2 or so by Sunday.

This line is actually encouraging. Usually when I see a line that looks this far out of whack it turns out to be much closer than expected. I'm betting there will be a lot of square money on Houston to cover.

9-1/2 is a lot, but this is a team that lost to Sandy Eggo at home by a touchdown, and by a dozen at Detroit.

If we barely win a shootout, I think the board will implode.

After the way we've played the first two weeks, I think a blowout win is the only way to calm some people down.
