***Official Draft Tyler Wilson Thread****

...might as well get this started early.

Perhaps his injury well allow him to slip to the middle of the of the 1st round,..where we tend to draft.

I have yet to see that to be honest with you. If there is film, I'd love to see it. What I have seen is when he gets behind he sticks to himself and stays quiet on the sidelines. His leadership is one of the things I question.

I have seen Wilson do what you are talking about in every game I watched him play. He is far more vocal and in command imo.

At some point I plan to take people off of ignore but, I want to stay here this time. When I get my footing and my words are consistantly taken in context without manipulation, I will loosen up on the ignore button. Half the reason I am so disliked is because my words are manipulated imo.

The idea is to prevent threads from being shit on out of respect for everyone here.

You shit on nearly all threads with absolutely asinine comments/opinions (ala Wilson is a similar runner to Steve Young).

The general consensus is that Wilson is the best qb in Mobile. The positive reports on Glennon seem to be limited to the fact that he "looks" the part - tall, pocket qb with a strong arm. But, he isn't consistent.

People were making a big deal about WIlsons hand size, yet I see that Glennon had the second most fumbles among college qbs last year.

IMO, your words aren't manipulated. The problem seems to be that you pull stupid shit out of your ass (like Siler is a better tackler than DJ or McCluster is quicker than Charles) and then defend it to the death.

Your exact words were: "he's as much of a runner as Steve young or tarkenton," the two best running QBs in nfl history.

How is that supposed to be taken?

And it's also hard to compare QBs from those eras to today. Young was a freak athlete and definitely would have been used in the pistol had it been in vogue then. Same with Tarkenton.

Geno Smith

13 Games played
Average pass defense rank: 66

Number of top 50 Pass Defenses: 5
Record against top 50 defenses: 3-2
Average stats against top 50 Pass defenses per game: 323 Yards, 3.4 TD's, .4 Int's, 67.82%

Tyler Wilson

11 Games Played
Average Pass Defense Rank: 58

Number of top 50 Pass Defenses: 4
Record against top 50 defenses: 1-3
Average stats against top 50 Pass defenses per game: 321 Yards, 1.5 TD's, 1.25 Int's, 62.55%

Defense rankings obtained from http://www.ncaa.com/stats/

So I guess geno played more higher ranked pass defenses, but both were pretty damn good

WHOA.

Where did Saccopoo say Geno was as good as RG3?

The double standard here is powerful.
