Actually, his gameplan was shit and couldn't get an old and slow offense off the field, which greatly limited the offense getting on the field.

Yes, Reid's Marty like gameplan in the 1st half was awful but the defensive game plan was worse.

Well yea that is also a looming issue and who knows how that affects everything.

But the point is I think this defense maybe has 4 guys who deserve to play on a good defense...that's not good at all.

I don't want to waste Mahomes, because he may be the only superstar QB this franchise will ever have, but there is absolutely no evidence to suggest that the Chiefs are capable, as an organization, of identifying and eliminating roadblocks to getting to a Super Bowl, like poor coaching, bad drafting, poor free agent acquisitions, etc.

Am I feeling very negative because of the outcome of the game? Yes. Am I saying something that isn't true? No.

Yes you are right. If the team has not won in 49 years there is no way I trust them to win anytime soon. However I do expect them to not do the same things while expecting the same results. Drafting a franchise QB was a great first step. Now they have to fix the defense, they tried swapping out players, same pathetic results. The DC needs to go.

Andy Reid isn't a new or inexperienced Head Coach who can actually use this game to improve as a coach. He has been a Head Coach for 20 years, and his career is defined by his annual "We just learn from this loss, and be better next year" speech, which he gives at the end of every post season.

The sample size for Andy Reid is 20 seasons long, and the conclusion is that he will never win the big game.

I believe that if Reid gives that same speech at the end of next season, he has to go, no matter who the defensive coordinator is. We have waited decades to finally draft and develop a franchise QB, and as a fan I am not willing to watch the Chiefs waste his talent on a Head Coach who has absolutely proven that he is a post season loser.
