What did you get for Christmas?
Here in the Runkc household, I got a Samsung soundbar+ subwoofer for my new TV I got during Black Friday.

Pretty great gift! Currently watching one of my favorite action movies (Skyfall) and couldn’t be happier.

My wife and I have a pretty predictable pattern: I buy the gifts for everyone (kids, parents, relatives, et. al), wrap them all, put up the tree, and decorate the house. I ask her repeatedly what she wants, and she never provides any specifics, so I pore over past statements and behaviors like Sherlock Holmes, then try to get her a thoughtful gift I think she'll use and like. She invariably returns it. She usually waits until the last minute despite me providing her with a list long in advance, then half-asses the entire process.

This year was no different.

I hate Christmas.
