Seems like a solid move. Once Fisher gets back I think you have an above avg line.

Didn't Erving play Center a bit for us?

LDT is coming on....IMO, he was shaky in the beginning but has played better as the season has progressed.

I donít want Erving anywhere near the field. He should be on the bench

Agreed, as Iíve said before his ceiling is legit backup that can help win a few games... but only in limited action, more than a few games and he gets exposed

In over his head right now, but still quality depth IMO

You would think so. How many times can DAT field a ball inside the 10 before someone gets sick of his shit.

I don’t remember him playing anything but RG, LG & LT for the Chiefs. I think he played some OC in his last year in CLE

He isn't good in space for sure. I thought he played a little C for us at one time and can't recall how that went.

If the defense is gonna be a work in progress for awhile, then load this offense to the gills and not just on so called skill positions... everyone knows you need some legit trench eaters, even with a preternatural talent like Money Mahomes
He's a good guard, and Cam is more valuable at G/C than he is at tackle...

How bad is Rankin at LT, and if he's that bad, why did we trade for him?

He's really still playing his way back into game shape from his injury.

Here's my take on the OL:

Week 4
LT: Erving - Bad
LG: Hunter - Worse than Bad, got Fired.
C: Reiter: Average
RG: LDT: Above Average
RT: Schwartz: Elite

Weeks 5 - 8 (assuming no injuries)
LT: Erving - Bad
LG: Wisniewski - will need ramp time, will call him average at best for first few weeks
C: Reiter: Average
RG: LDT: Above Average
RT: Schwartz: Elite

Weeks 8ish - Rest of Season (assuming no injuries)
LT: Fisher - Above Average
LG: Wisniewski - Average to Above Average at this point of the season
C: Reiter: Average
RG: LDT: Above Average
RT: Schwartz: Elite

We need to comb for depth anywhere we can find it.

Rankin is raw as roadkill, a total project who hasnít even finished a cup of coffee here yet... weíre stuck with Cam until Fish gets back, unfortunately

I still think Andy Heck is part of the problem. Our offensive lines have never looked polished under Andy Heck. We have always struggled against Dlines with lots of motion.
