Socialist Admits Green New Deal was Never About the Environment

This is an article by a prominent progressive-cum-communist that writes fluff pieces about socialism for the NYTimes. He just comes right out says what everyone should have already suspected.

Quote:
The proposal for a Green New Deal by the Green Party has a fundamental difference from what is touted by progressive Democrats. It does not argue that structural change and a transition to renewable energy will come by making alliances with corporate power. Instead, it insists that we bring about a transformational change in our economy by crushing corporate power and establishing a socialist system.

Kinda' like Obama care, which was written by the health insurance industry.

You'd be surprised how much socialists are in bed with corporations or would that be corporations are in bed with socialists. Socialism gives corporations gauranteed crony monopolistic markets and power from the state. It's actually the fascist model. Notice, how the left here calls the right fascist all the time. Yeah right!

Just look at how Big Tech is in bed with govt, aka taxpayer's money—some key ones actually started with funding right out of DARPA or CIA money or got it later.
MS News Guard funded out of DARPA - govt can now regulate news by outsourcing who guards it with qualifications.
MS Election Guard funded out of DARPA - govt can affect elections " " " " "
Google/You Tube funded out of DARPA - govt can censor political speech by outsourcing it, gets around First Amendment this way
Facebook either funded from CIA's investment arm or DARPA
Amazon losing money for years until big CIA contract for building their Cloud
Of course the content in the above is all being turned over to the state, just like our cell phone data.

Even Armand Hammer funded a lot of things in the ole Soviet Union once-upon-a-time.

Yep, Big Tech is in bed with govt and the censorship campaign started with Democrat congress critters threatening them or else to do something about the views being expressed on-line. It's called Technocracy.

Oh and I read a few pages in of the Paris Climate Accord, which states it's an anti-poverty program. ( for poorer countries using mostly our money). Global redistributionism. No wonder commie Jesuit Pope Francis was promoting it.
