Chiefs targeted, but by who?

5 weeks left in the season and then playoffs. The release of the video was a deliberate conspiracy to sabatoge the Chiefs season knowing this would be an automatic 6 game exemption. With the underhanded things the Patriots have been caught doing in the past, it would make a person wonder.

Naw, you need to get off your high horse (pun intended) and be objective for a change when it comes to this. It's not like he's just making stuff up, he's providing examples, and he's also providing you examples of what fans of their own team were saying about it. That's pretty telling. You're not objective because you're so used to being on the other side of things.

I just took 3x's my normal PCP and found this:

In 1996 the NFL signed a 3.6 Billion network deal...and each team received $30 million per (was $17 million before)

In 2011 they signed a $27 billion network deal and each team got $200 million annually.

NFL announces 2 games a year will be played in London in 2013...then upped it to 3 in 2014....now up to 5 in 2017.

What I'm trying to illustrate is #1. 2011 is the year the NFL started it's path to the total dogshit we have today. #2. It's also when the NFL felt real pressure to make games close to the very last few minutes. This whole transformation into what is now "overt" rigging WWF BS is driven by the how much money they are making without selling a single ticket...and the pressure to make good on the ratings.

If you watched the Jags/Pats AFCCG last year...you saw this in play. Having Bortles in the SB over Brady was not going to happen...not in a million years. The NFL is driven by these network deals now...not the actual integrity of the sport. The owners dont give a flying shit if they win or lose...their revenue has gone up 10x's in 20 years..and their franchise value has tripled (at least). Having two LA teams just gives them that much more leverage..the network deals are about to expire. The Chargers success in LA is paramount... and why the hype came out of nowhere.

The real question is if you owned an NFL team...would you sabotage your own franchise for the "betterment" of the NFL for $1.6 billion in free money. (8 years at the antiquated 2011 rate...probably closer to $2 billion)

Chunt and his helmet hair nods an emphatic "yes"....along with every other owner. The Hunt video didnt just fall from the sky...it was premeditated. Drama sells...Brady's courtroom crap...the Elliot suspension...Kareem knocks out three birds...adds national drama, removes a top player from the main team standing in the way of the "LA Express"...and will get people to watch Thursday night as LA wins again on National TV.

I'll happily eat crow if that game is fairly officiated...unfortunately, I dont think it's going to happen. Chargers have got bizarre calls for three weeks in a row...all in their favor.

If the NFL controls the outcome, why would they need to remove Kareem from KC to give the Chargers and Pats a better chance to unseat KC as the top seed?

obviously there is a limit to their control in-game, as all they can do is make sure they pay the refs enough to throw as many flags as they can against us - the problem is, to this point, we have been good enough to overcome the sabotage.

They've seen this and have now gone in harder by removing our best players entirely. its simply another stage in the over-arching aim.

I believe we should hire a few P.I.'s and put them on the heels of "some" key players of "some" teams, and then release the footage on the internet and to the media with anonymous accounts as we see fit.
Because there will be A LOT of footage to release for sure.
The day the game starts being played outside of the football field...well, I guess you have to adapt and play by the new rules.
BTW a little pushing and shoving and a pat in the ass with a foot is far from "brutalizing" and "kicking a defenseless woman", but that's what you get in the age of meetoo.
Not realizing this is the only reason why Kareem is an asshole.

I think some of the words I’ve heard to describe the situation seem way over the top to me. Words like “brutalizing” and “heinous”. It’s ridiculous.

Makes for a great story, definitely.

Not sure which game you're talking about this week... LAR on SNF (not TNF). LAC plays Sunday afternoon against the Bengals, not sure if Rivers can even mess that one up.

There’s no way the NFL would want the Chargers in the SB, especially if the Rams made it in the NFC. The Chargers can only get about 10k of their own fans at home games. There’s now way that more than a few of them would travel to Atlanta for a Super Bowl. Viewership would also be way down if you had two teams from the same city playing each other, especially if those two teams were from the west coast.
