BINGO!!!

Anyone who wants him on the field PLAYING is nuts. He is dog shit slow.

He would make a GREAT coach in my opinion and motivator!

If the Defense is gonna suck. Why not bring back a LB as a coach that led the original 32 defense and teach the new 32.2 defense how to really suck?

Bring back DJ!

I still think it's literally a matter of poundage. We're playing really small and light defensive sets to maximize pass coverage, and they just get run over.
I don't think it's all poundage, but when the ILB hesitates, he's lost the battle. I don't have any GIFs to prove it, but I think that's what's happening with Ragland. He doesn't move on the snap. Even if it's a lateral move, he's not a blocking dummy. Hitchens, on the other hand, seems to jump the 1st move and often overruns the play.

I know you're trying to be funny, but this is completely wrong. The Chiefs drafted DJ in 2005. That year, the defense improved by quite a bit. They finished 25th in yardage allowed but 16th in points allowed. The previous year they had been 31st and 29th in those categories.

The original 32 defense was in 2003.

I just went back and looked at the 2003 defensive ranking and for the season overall, it wasn't nearly as bad as I rememberd. But the problem was that they were kind of Jeckyl and Hyde for the first half of the season, giving up a high yardage totals one week and low yardage the next. But then they gave up several 400 and 500 yard games in the second half of the season. I can still see Clinton Portis putting on that wrestling style championship belt at that game in Denver. That defense gave up 508 yards to the Broncos in that game, 270 on the ground.

Remember on Sunday when Ragland shot through the gap and smacked the Pats RB in the backfield for a loss? Why don't they do more of that!!!
