Which statement is the most logical and best predictor of the game I wonder?
It has nothing to do with who they played. It has to do with a mentality.

The road matters, but the difference is what NE has been doing, conceptually.

Good.

Because their road mentality obviously sucks

If NE doesn’t find a way to score touchdowns on their first 2 drives, KC is going to pull away early and never look back.

Arrowhead will be as wild as it has EVER been.

Brady is going to get frustrated by the pass rush getting to him and the secondary giving looks he hasn’t prepared for. BB is going to formulate a plan to slow down Hill and Kelce and will give up looks to Harris, Watkins, Williams2 and Robinson.

At home, they outscored opponents 263-133.

The Dolphins scored 34 on you ...the Jags scored 31...the Titans scored 34...the bears put up 31.

The Patriots are walking into a buzzsaw.

Simple as that
Here’s the QBs that New England has beaten on the road this year:

1. Mitch Trubisky
2. Derek Anderson
3. Josh McCown

How does Patrick Mahomes measure up to that gauntlet?

They haven’t won a road playoff game in over a decade.

Sunday night, KC ends the run of the Patriots.

You Pats fans know it.

We know it.

BB knows it

Brady knows it

Yes..and the only time Belichick has played Reid's Chiefs outside of NE...they got destroyed on prime time 41-14. Brady was benched..

We also know that your Pats had 10 days to prepare at home vs. the Chiefs 7 on the road... and it still took 0 punts and 0 penalties to win on the final play. Houston didn't play that game...PMII put up 31 points in one half.

Reid/Mahomes @ Arrowhead is last situation your fans should want...I read your forum before the final game of the season...and KC at home was the one everyone was worried about. They knew if they didn't secure HFA...they were going to be taking that sterling 3-5 road record to the midwest.

42 year old QB in 5 degree weather against the loudest stadium on earth and the #1 sack team. I hear it hurts when you get hit at that temperature..

Your team hasn't won a road playoff game in 12 years...when Brady was 30.

He should be...they are 2-2 against KC....but Chiefs margin of victory is 21 points vs. Patriots 5.

KC has either blown them out...or lost in a close game.

I could just read this over and over.

The champion the NFL does not need is the New England Patriots—an aging but still dangerous relic of the bad old days. The Patriots are everything that should be left in the past: A grim, hostile group of serial cheaters endowed with the world's foremost superiority complex, worshipped by a smug, spoiled fan base whose brains have been addled by pervasive tribal groupthink that promotes hyper-aggressive hero worship and—when met with the slightest criticism—a hasty retreat into conspiratorial posturing. It would be beyond dispiriting to see them win another Super Bowl.
