Now, if Mahomes becomes as good as many including myself think he could be, it's a whole new level for the Chiefs. The offense could become something it hasn't been in nearly 15 years.
I honestly dont see our guys being quite as dynamic as Atlantas duo

But what our guys lack in explosiveness, they should be be able to make up for with with a grinding, wear you down, kill the clock style... provided Ehingers return is the cure for what ailed us last year

What Alex Smith brings this year, I have no clue... tempted to expect the same old shit because thats how he has mostly played for his entire career

But maybe, just maybe, the writing on the wall spurs him to reach outside of himself and he tries to MAKE plays for once... 'good' Smiff can approach dynamic, we'll see

The pressure will either make him wilt, or make him show off

If he decides to grab his balls, we could have a great year

The Chiefs have a lot of success when Smith scrambles. Efficiency is the name of the entire game to Alex isn't it? The offense operates at peak efficiency if he's tucking and running.

Alex had 2 attempts for 9 yards that game. I'm not saying he had to have 20 freakin carries, but a few more may have done us a lot of good to at least get the Steelers to account for him and open up some more of those safe throwing lanes short and over the middle.

He's just not going to be a very good QB in 2017. He's officially on the decline.

I think it's more likely that Mahomes plays later in the season than Alex playing all year.

Andy knows Alex is declining. Fewest TD's, most INT's and fewest rushing yards in his time here.

This is where hindsight rears its ugly head.. and Smith would concede he should have taken a few more risks. He got spoiled and used to winning most close games by this hidden positive VS huge negative mentality and approach.

It's the other big reason (1A is health) that makes me PERFECTLY OKAY with the team moving on from him soon. He's just not willing to break out of this mentality and cautious approach enough. So now, the Chiefs can sink faster or swim further with Mahomes in the near future.

I still contend that there wasn't whole lot of good from the options on that particular play. That to simple, biased people.. that play pic is a great example of twisting things to fit an agenda.
Hidden positives...I guess only a QB with hidden gigabytes would be able to identify those and know how to utilize them!!!

We do appreciate your servitude, though. You set a useful example for the remaining traitors.

Mavericks Ace, The Official Pissboy Of Alexsexuals. Fetch Lord Mahomes chamber pot, pissboy! And make Alex wash it with his tongue.

Once again showing you know absolutely nothing. Just because Alex himself can't physically do it, does not mean he can't teach Mahomes how to be a professional qb. How to watch film how to prepare. But again. Not surprised. And you keep talking like I'm upset Mahomes is here. I'm happy as hell. I thought for sure Andy Reid was gonna take Watson. Yuck.

Naw. Me and SDH have been cool for years. Mahomes being here is phenomenal. It doesn't take a genius to watch 5 minutes of tape and realize that kids special.

Sad but absolutely true. The playoffs is where I could always push back the Nay Sayers but between the Pitts game and the Pat's game there's just nothing left to defend. At this point and I still like Alex but being bluntly honest he's a back up. Just give one more healthy year, cause Mahomes NEEDS to sit and then ride off into the sunset.

Shouldn't you be out looking for somebody's ass to jam it in fruit cake? Figures. Your boyfriend calls in his equally worthless half to come help. I've told you since day one. Alex brought me here but I'd be here long after he's gone. Gonna make a trip down for a game with the family this year too.

He is already the best QB since Lenny the Cool and he hasn't put on his jersey yet.

Now hire Joe Montana, Steve Young, and Brett Favre as mentors so he can just soak up all their wisdom and experience.
