The key question here is whether it's better to have an edited thread started at the proper time, or a proper thread started at the incorrect time. Nobody knows. This is unprecedented territory.

Let's stick with this one since it was at the proper time, but it's all up in the air now. We'll have to monitor it and learn for the future.
