I figured it was time to start the new version of this...

2012 Schedule
April 14: Spring Game

I'm not too sure right now all the buzz seems to be about torri hunters kid.

Someone on a husker board said k-state is in the picture? In the end I wouldn't be surprised if Arkansas gets him. Other than UCLA with slick rick they might be the dirtiest bunch when it comes to recruiting.

He should feel great about MU's depth chart. Both starting guards are seniors. Next season the main competitors at guard will be Evan Boehm, Conner McGovern, and Nick Demien. Not a whole lot of depth there. Of the four current 2013 OL commits, three are better suited for tackle and the other for center. If Hannon came in at 300 pounds, and it is good weight, he'd be given every opportunity to make the two deep at guard.

Chappell and Ruth both (likely) out for the season. Ruth has a torn triceps tendon and Chappell has a torn ACL. Both were working with the starting O-Line unit (although Chappell was filling in for an injured Britt).

Sucks for Ruth, though. I'm not sure there will be a home for him when he returns like there was for Elvis.

For a team that was already thinnish in the O-Line, that's a really ominous beginning.

Had 'em for awhile.

Unfortunately some close friends of ours are getting married on Alabama weekend. We've already rec'd offers to sell our 'Bama tickets for what the rest of the package cost us.

Free football! (Though I'd have far preferred go to that Bama game...)

Ouch! I have a similar deal but thank God its Vandy weekend. Oh well, 6 games for free is still good, and the UGA game will probably be the highlight of the season, not the Bama game.

Also, TE Sean Culkin (true freshman TE) is out with a broken finger. Our guys are dropping like flies. Starter Eric Waters is out with a knee injury and Culkin had been receiving praise for his play in Waters' absence.
