PFF Mock Draft Simulator

Just got an email about this, I know the general consensus is people don't like PFF but the draft machine for free on there has trades and other functionality (I only just started playing with it, no one was willing to trade for the Chiefs pick at 32 according to the simulator)

Looks like you can do big boards that are non PFF related if you hate their gradings etc, if I understand correctly what the options are saying. Looks way less pretty than draftnetwork but better than that ontheclock one.

First attempt. No trade down options at any picks was disappointing.

Second attempt I like a little more. PFF does not like drafting RBs anywhere apparently. Would have liked a 6' or bigger CB but no real options I liked more than the picks made. Would be expecting many 2 safety formations with HB and Chinn playing more coverage.

I traded down to Cleveland's pick at 41 overall and picked up a 3rd and a 7th (74 and 244 overall). I got:

2.41: Cesar Ruiz, C, Michigan
2.63: Bryce Hall, CB, Virginia
3.74: Jeremy Chinn, S, Northern Illinois
3.96: Logan Wilson, LB, Wyoming
4.138: Harrison Bryant, TE, Florida Atlantic
5.177: John Simpson, G, Clemson
7.244: Quez Watkins, WR, Southern Miss

Ehhh... maybe? I wouldn't puke if that was our draft. I admittedly didn't spend much time looking far down the list at who was available, so it was tough to know who PFF had ranked where. Harrison Bryant and John Simpson as 4th and 5th rounders is flat out ****ing stupid, in my opinion. And the Chiefs probably won't get Bryce Hall in the 2nd like that

I’d take that in a heartbeat

Won’t work on my tablet, but will work on my cell phone.

I was able to trade our #63 and #177 to Cleveland for #74, #97, and #115. REALLY happy with the results, but I think it a tad bit unrealistic that certain players are available at these spots. I’d personally sign up for this in a heartbeat.

#32 WR Justin Jefferson, LSU (1st round)
#74 OC Lloyd Cushenberry, LSU (3rd round)
#96 CB Troy Pride Jr, Norte Dame (3rd round)
#97 LB Malik Harrison, Ohio State (3rd round)
#115 RB Cam Akers, FSU (4th round)
#138 TE Albert Okwuegbunam, Mizzou (4th round)

PFF trade grade = 72.6
PFF mock draft grade = 70.0

———————————————

Second time with no trades, seems equally unrealistic to me (four players who MIGHT go in the first round based on certain sources/opinions). I’d sign up for this in a heartbeat too.

#32 CB Jeff Gladney, TCU
#63 RB D’Andre Swift, Georgia
#96 OC Lloyd Cushenberry, LSU
#138 DL James Lynch, Baylor
#177 LB Jordyn Brooks, Texas Tech

PFF mock draft grade = 68.0

I love Quez Watkins in round 7 if the Chiefs can trade for some late picks.
