My first 2 years of college, I had my high school gf that I was with and I was knocking out broads at school. He may have thought he was being a player.

He's right in that I was shocked to see ESPN credit Deadspin. They are always hammering ESPN about everything, especially about things ESPN does to make themselves look good, like breaking stories, etc.

I guess I could see that. Still, seems like he put a ton of effort into a "relationship", at least according to him, with a person he'd never actually seen. And it's not like he's got lots of time to be doing this either, the guy has class, practice, film study, weight room, etc. But not enough effort to visit her in all the time she was sick/dying.
