2022 AFC Championship Chiefs Victory will now be known as "The Redemption Game"

You can't even write all the stories that developed over the course of this game. Andy Reid even called it a game of Redemption, just like I did at the end of the game.

Let's look at how many players stepped the **** up BIG time:

1. Chris Jones - the guy who everyone was wondering how he is so great and couldn't get a playoff sack came to play like King Kong. He was disruptive as hell, caused penalties, missed passess, QB hits, rushed throws, and 2 HUGE sacks including the one that iced the game. He got major REDEMPTION today.

2. Harrison Butker - guy has the WORST statistical season of his career, gets an injury in the very first game of the season and was wobbly in a lot of games. Many of us here were shit scared for a game to rest on his shoulders. Today he nailed everything right down the middle, never a single doubt on any kick. The guy saved his best for last. Today was redemption day.

3. MVS - he has had a few great moments but few and far between. I was a big fan from the start of the season and thought he needed more targets. Today he got them and delivered big time. That catch downfield just before getting hit when he spun completely to the other side and the TD and the nice catch and run all were huge and showed he has great concentration and hands. Redeemed himself for sure

4. Skyy Moore - let's be honest, he has had a season to forget before today. Yet he was thrust into a bigger role with all the injuries and his punt return at the end of the game was probably the only reason this never went into OT. He had some other decent plays but after everything that happened earlier in the season, he got redemption for sure.

5. Bryan Cook - dude was having an AWFUL game with a penalty, big passes let up and TD then BAM!; dude truned his head at the last minute, spots the ball, deflects it up and Watson catches an INT. That was redemption at it's finest.

6. Steve Spags and our D - we all know our D had the WORST Red Zone D with #32 for TDs allowed, most defensive backs penalties and leaking like a sieve many games. Today Spags went into full Brainiac Mode and puts into place a GREAT game plan that harassed Burrow neary all game and many sacks, tough D and few penalties. Frank Clark was huge, Mike Danna was everywhere, Karlaftis kept his lanes. They got redemption today.

7. Patrick Mahomes the Great - that "Never Beat Burrow" mantra hung heavy around his neck and the Grim Reaper gave EVERYTHING he possibly could with a ****ed up ankle. He was limited on any runs but his arm was great. The fumble was a ****up but HE REDEEMED HIMSELF for the past losses and the fumble. I love you PM III

8. The Chiefs team - They played one of their best overall games today; pressure on D, few mistakes, few penalties except stupid Wylie's taunting dance in from of the ref, the OLine protecting Mahomes, the 2nd and 3rd stringers filling the voids, the Rookies doing incredible. The team redeemed themselves against the critics who complained about our Weak D.

Overall this was one of the funnest games I have watched as a Chiefs fan and came in with lowered expectations and it helped me be come for nearly the entire game. I truly thought we blew it at 4:23 in the 4th when we punted but my doubt was REDEEMED!!!

Way to go Chiefs, on to the Super Bowl !!!
What a great time to be a Chiefs fan......

Yeah, I really hope Clay's game video is to the tune of Flo Rida's "My House."

It was.

The D carried this game and then ended it.

Our secondary balled the **** out. INT's and sacks everywhere.

Pat looked like he was going to piss the game away in the 4th and the whole team responded and stepped up.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

And then Mahomes did a Mahomes thing and ran for a first down with 8 seconds left with a busted wheel, got out of bounds and drew a late hit.

5th Annual Mahomes Classic.

Shocking that Mahomes won it. Again.

Skyy put us in position to do it. The offense was struggling.
