There are some very promising things happening. Worthy and Hopkins gelling. Pacheco coming back. I hope the new tackle can improve things on the left side. There are some glaring holes. CB opposite McDuffie. Line play at different times. Morris being a turnstile at points today was awfully scary. The bend but don’t break defense.

The Ravens lost to this same Raiders team at home. They also lost to the Browns.
The Texans lost to the Titans and Jets. The Bills, their coach and their QB piss it down their leg every single year in the postseason. Everyone has flaws. Ill take my chances w Mahomes and Reid to figure it out in the playoffs. |

Ultimately, yes.
Spags defense looked rough again today and red zone offense was awful. Should have been 30-17 win. I’d like to say I’m concerned (and I am a little), but they looked bad in December last year and especially trash in the Raiders Christmas game, and they flipped the switch come playoff time. I guess I’ll just assume they’ll do the same this year until they show us otherwise. |

Winning is always so much sweeter when it comes at the expense of the Raiders incompetence.

The Raiders are a tough nasty defense that beaten us up the last couple of years. It drives me crazy that Pat misses a wide open Kelce but AIDS McConnell throws up what looked like a prayer that landed perfectly into Bowers hand for a touchdown. This has truly become a rivalry game again.

I recognize the team has flaws, but Mahomes is still the difference. He’s a straight up winner.
There was a quote from somebody on this forum a few weeks back that was something like this: “If Mahomes had not won three super bowls we’d be talking about benching him”. That was actually the opinion of somebody who has such genetic deficiency in their brain, that to dare to procreate for fear of passing along that type of yet to be identified brain bacteria would be a disservice to all mankind. “If” he hadn’t won 3 SB’s. |

Too many people think top NFL teams should win every game like Nebraska did in the 80s against K-State or Iowa State. The reality is most teams are equal with a few advantages at quarterback and coaching separates them.

I don't get it but winning is better than losing. The 3peat march continues and now even if we lose the rest we have a spot in the dance.

This thread was dangerously close to sliding from the front page on a day we beat the RAIDERS and avenged our Christmas Day loss from last year, this post corrected this oversight.

Theoretically, a lot of other teams should have more talent than the Chiefs. KC is at the bottom of the draft order every single year.

It feels like the Vikings from a few years ago where they were 10-0 in one score games and then got blown up in the playoffs.
It was a ****ing crazy game to add to a real crazy season. I'm scared for Mahomes thinking of who we have left to play.
