CP $100 Fantasy Football League (Update to other thread with rules in thread starter)

Alright guys, here is a new thread for the CP $100 Fantasy Football League. The settings are listed below.

Buy-In will be $100 and will be due 1 week before the draft. Please get your payments in earlier than that though, so we can have the draft order generated. I will not have draft order generated before everyone has paid. We will be using Paypal for payments. I have sent payment instructions out to everyone, so please start getting this paid. If you need the instructions again, please let me know.

As soon as everyone has paid, we will have a draft order generated by using a random order generator online (we used one of these last year, and it worked great). Everyone's emails are entered into the system, and everyone receives the email with the draft order direct from the website, so it is fair to everyone.

I will allow the trading of draft picks as well, and ESPN is set up for such.

Now, please send me some entry fees, and let's get this going.

2011 Final Standings

League Champions: doomy3 - $650

2nd Place: NW Chiefs Fan - $400

3rd Place: Utah Ute - $150

Oh, here we go again. You are a douche of epic proportions. You are just begging me to post our email transcripts to prove to everyone that we never once argued, you were never once coerced, and that you were the one to email me and say to be online in 15 minutes so we could hammer out the deal. Is that really what you want? If it isn't then you need to shut the **** up.

There is no reason for you to continue to try to throw me under the bus with your made up bullshit.

**** off.

Well Doomy used points scored to justify his trade with Shorman and based on that.

Portis and Marshall = 109.9

Colston and Bradshaw = 105.3

It's even or I lose I guess

Your justification was future value. Portis future value is 0.

Yep, same thing. I know you're smarter than this. Let's not take into account that Portis may miss the rest of the season. I know you are trying hard to be difficult, but hopefully you can really see why I would make sure that deal was good. I would have sent you the same message if it had have been the other way.

Are there rumors of Jackson going to NE....I don't think I've heard of anything involving that story line. Hell I was almost sold at this point that Jackson wasn't gonna play at all this year. Even after his suspension's over. He might though you never know. NE probably would be a good fit for him too. I mean Brandon Tate isn't really a proven receiver just yet. He's a proven kick returner at this point, but he's still got to prove that NE was correct in trading Moss. Only way he can really do that is to justify the trade with his on field production. Now what I mean by that is if NE's offense doesn't skip a beat without Moss then they made the right decision and Tate as a receiver and not a returner has worked out pretty well for them. If their offense starts to stall a bit it means Tate isn't the answer opposite of Welker and then I can see them perhaps making a play for Jackson. Time will tell though whether Tate is the guy to fill Moss's shoes. Mind you those are pretty big shoes to fill.

Really a #1 WR and #2 RB (in 4-6 weeks) for a #3 WR and #2RB ins a PPR league?

I know, I said I'm applying the same standard Doomy used when evaluating his trade.

They are saying 4-6 weeks though, so I wouldn't say 0.

I'm just looking for things to be consistant. Is collusion or the commish's opinon the standard for vetoing? You've said it both ways. Is total points scored on a season a way to evaluate a trade, like you did, good for just you evaluating a trade or does that work for me to? Just looking for clarity. I'm just dumbfounded how this was even delayed.

There speculation about it, since New England has 8 picks in first four rounds. I didn't want wait a week miss him on waiver wire like Ricky Williams.

Get back on in 15 minutes and will discuss

Chad Dumas to Matt
show details Sep 29 (7 days ago)

OK, I'll be online, so just send me a gmail chat

matt shor to me
show details Sep 29 (7 days ago)

you want to talk

matt shor to me
show details Sep 29 (7 days ago)
4:33 PM
matt: hey maybe i have another deal on the line
4:34 PM
me: ok I see. I have turned down a few deals today because I thought we were getting close

if you don't think we can get something done, I'll start looking back into some of those.

Let me know
4:35 PM
matt: well we can i just worry bout best health turf tough=shitty rb

me: sure, I understand

sounds like his mri came back good though

matt: they need their fet damn it
4:36 PM
feet

me: the only reason I'm talking about trading him is because I need a little bit of an upgrade at WR

matt: i understand

me: I could get Jamaal Charles for him right now and trade him to you if you would rather have him

really I could get just about any back for him right now and could trade to you
4:37 PM
I've gotten tons of offers for Best. Way more than anyone else on my team]
4:39 PM
Like I said in my last email, I could do a different combo of WRs in the deal if that makes a difference
30 minutes
5:09 PM
me: you on?

matt: yo

alright final offer

actually
5:10 PM
the reason why i don't like it is that if jahvid doesnt play this week im out of rb
5:11 PM
me: Best is going to play

Plus, you still have Forsett and would have Fred Jackson. That's worse case scenario

Plus, you could pick up Kevin Smith if it came down to that
5:12 PM
matt: yah that blah compared to what you'll have

me: I don't know about that necessarily. The thing is, like I said, Best is the type of guy who single-handedly wins weeks. Like Chris Johnson
5:13 PM
matt: I agree or he flops

cause he on lions

me: I'm serious though, if there is someone else you would rather have than Best, I have been offered just about everyone for him

matt: no i rather have best
5:14 PM
just for right price

me: Well, I'm trying to get it worked for you

Already pulled out AJ out of the deal, and you keep Moreno

and you keep Fitz

matt: i said either or
5:15 PM
moreno still in just not both

me: Right I got you. Don't really need Moreno though. Was just trying to get something done.
5:16 PM
matt: kk how about this
5:17 PM
mathews moss and bears d for best, naanee steelers
5:18 PM
me: No, can't do that either man
5:19 PM
I woiuld do the D switch included in the last deal I offered you though

So

Matthews, Moss, Tomlinson and Bears D

for Best, Steelers, Naanee, Bowe, Jackson
5:20 PM
matt: can you pick up somebody other than jackson?

he on the bills and with cj spiller and mershawn
5:21 PM
me: you mean off waivers or something?

Lynch is going to get traded, and they aren't giving the ball to Spiller

Jackson had over 1000 last year. They'll have to start giving him the ball
5:22 PM
matt: well jackson only got 4 carries last game

me: right I know. They're showcasing Lynch for trade. As soon as he gets traded, Jackson's value will go WAY up

Buffalo started listening to trade offers today

matt: hang on one second

me: k
5:26 PM
matt: one switch

instead of bowe can i get lance moore cassel cant throw
5:27 PM
me: Yeah, we can do that. I like Lance quite a bit, but if that gets it done, then I'm good with that.

Deal?
5:29 PM
matt: let see get better rb better d. deal

me: sorry, what was that last message?
5:30 PM
matt: i still think you win out i just hope mershawn gets traded

me: I would bet you $1000 he gets traded. He'll be a Packer.
5:31 PM
You get the top ranked D, 3rd ranked RB. Pretty good deal for us both

matt: ya the defense kind of did it

me: And a WR who put up 40 last week

Moore
5:32 PM
matt: but it a third option

me: And he had a breakout season last time Bush got hurt

matt: send it

me: Sending it over right now
5:33 PM
Just sent it. Good dealing with you man
5:34 PM
We'll probably meet in the championship

matt: ya

me: good luck the rest of the way
5:35 PM
matt: that huge ****ing trade

9 player swap
5:38 PM
can we get it so it goes through right a way

me: yep, I'll push it through

as soon as you accept
7 minutes
5:45 PM
matt: i accepted it and it not pushed through
5:46 PM
me: not sure why it isn't pushing through
5:47 PM
do you have another deal out on the table with one of those guys involved? If you do, pull that off the table and that should push it through
5:48 PM
There we go. Now it's through

Bradshaw is the 10th rated back in Fantasy Football. That would make him a RB1. There are a lot of rumors of Portis not playing another game for the Redskins.

But, the deal is through. No need to justify it.
