***Official Knowmo2724 homer-2000 thread***

Very few non-bronco fans can tolerate him. he creates inane threads that are homeristic in nature (his avatar is very apropos), and nobody loves him (not even his own mother)

'face, this can be the home for all knowmo threads so we aren't treated to the bi-weekly steaming 'presents' left by the front door.

I'm sorry, KnowMo, but you just can't make that claim. Whether you like it or not, longevity plays a huge role in HOF balloting. I know think you know that TD would have gone on to consistently put up those types of numbers but there's just no telling. RBs (as well as every other position on the field) have had their dominant years and then fizzled out.

Larry Johnson had two of the most dominant back-to-back seasons a RB's ever experienced; does he deserve mention as one of the best ever?

As others mentioned, if you look at Priest's stretch from 02-04 you'd think he'd be Hall-worthy but you have to look at the entire body of work.

And although he has an impressive postseason resume, he was lucky to be on such a great team to allow him the opportunities. Does Vernon Davis deserve mention over Tony Gonzalez because he's had a better playoff showing?

No shit.

I hear Wawwww, Waawww, TD had to have the benefit of a top 5 QB of all time playing with him, as well as several HOF players on Offense and Defense.

Seriously, I loved watching TD. I think he's great.

But he is seriously Arian Foster. Same. Exact. Runner.

Do you think Kurt Warner deserves to be in the HOF as urgently as TD does?

Kurt Warner? The guy that took two different teams to the SB and won one? Is there an argument against Warner getting into the HOF? If there is, I am unaware of it.

So to answer, Warner deserves to be in the hall much more urgently than TD.

And this is why I enjoy I like guys like you and Listo and why everyone hates KnowMo.

Some people think Warner didn't play enough or accumulate enough career stats to get into the HOF.

I mean, for me, he absolutely deserves it. He took perhaps the NFL's two most historically terrible franchises and went to three Super Bowls with them, winning one.

To this day I still refuse to believe that the Arizona Cardinals once played in a Super Bowl. It's unimaginable to me. But it happened, and Warner was the one who did it.

Anyone who thinks Warner doesn't deserve to be in the HOF should be beaten with reeds.

Repeatedly.
