Let discuss Tommy Townsend
Are you happy with his performance thus far? Has he been an adequate replacement for 'the legend' Dustin Colquitt?
I feel like hes hit some boomers. Discuss... https://www.nfl.com/players/tommy-townsend/stats/ https://www.nfl.com/players/tommy-townsend/stats/logs/ |

How can a holder only mess up on extra points? You can go either way with that thought.

He ran a 4.6 so if we ever need to fake punt that could be useful.

A slow mo replay of his hair flowing in the wind on a fake for a 75 yard TD would be glorious

Only part of this that is frustrating is Jack Fox is having a great year in Detroit and we just let him get away.

He doesn't have the touch of a Colquitt-of-old, but he's sure a lot cheaper and that's allowed us to pick up some valuable players on the cheap.
But I share the concern about the Butker/Townsend apparent problems on extra points. It may be timing or, as someone mentioned earlier, just something they need to work out between them. Either way, that has to be addressed soon. That missed XP in the Buffalo game could have been a disaster. |

When they played the replay, the hold looked fine (vs. Bills) to me. Didn't spot anything wrong there, but I'm not an aficionado on XP holds.

Tommy Rock Star.
Wish I had 1/1000 of his hair. I could do an awesome comb over. |
