I was saying that in response to Kroc's tweet. Where he asked why he was a good pick at 10 but not 1.

No problem guys..... I think a lot of people back east dont realize how good of a fan base the chiefs have. One thing I will say....Think about the Super Bowls the last 10 years.... I think its fair to say that the teams winning the Super Bowls are the teams that groom their QB's and for the most part are home grown and not journeyman..... Brady, both Mannings, Rapelisberger, Rodgers.... other than Drew Brees who the chargers were idiots to let go, every QB is a home grown franchise guy. You have to go back to Brad Johnson for the Bucs to find a guy that wasnt basically a home grown talent. And the Bucs were a defensive juggernaut, kind of like the Ravens first SB team with Dilfer. So unless you have a lights out defense, you better have a franchise QB to win it all. As a Skins fan, I see the light at the end of the tunnel with our team... but thats because we have our guy. Its just my opinion, but I really think you guys need to be building for 2-3 years from now. Manning has 2-3 years left, the chargers will be an absolute mess in 2-3 years and the raiders..... well, they're the raiders.... nuff said. If you guys do it right, you could be winning the west a lot more than you will be drafting high. If anyone has any questions about Geno or WVU, ask away.

BTW - I have to ask... why did you guys draft Baldwin in the first round....? I had no idea you guys took him that high two years ago.... dude was a head case at Pitt.....

I just have an issue with a guy saying prospect "A" is the 10th best player in the 2013 draft. Then also saying in the same sentence practically that the player will be average or a bust.

If a guy is rated 10th on your board, that means you expect him to be a very good player. Otherwise everything after 10 is basically bust material also.

I don't think that's what he meant. Miller was implying that when we see Geno in OAK we will be glad we didn't take him. Kroc just asked him if he is going to be that bad why have him rated 10 overall? Miller just tried to make a dramatic statement and then had to back up when it was pointed out how high he has Geno.

If you think a guy is going to be bad enough where people say "thank god we didn't draft him" you shouldn't have only 9 players in the ENTIRE draft ahead of him.

You are correct that expectations are different, but in the end its about getting to the playoffs and winning a SB. If we had Gabbert that would be what I wanted. Maybe I would give him a hair more time but in the end its get us a Championship or peace out.

That is the only compliment I ever hear for the Chiefs. The Chiefs fan base has a good reputation everywhere. Ironically, while we are loud and passionate, we are full of idiots.

He doesn't work as the Raiders GM. Most of the planet says Geno isn't a top 10 pick. But that doesn't mean a GM in Oakland won't disagree and be wrong.

Matt Miller has mocked Geno in the top ten he whole offseason.

On January 13, 2013 he mocked Geno to us at one.

In December, he mocked Geno to the Jaguars at the top spot.

After that, he mocked Geno to NY at 9.

Then, the Raiders at 3.
