I thought that years ago Martin admitted to having serious mental health issues and suicide attempts. If he owns guns, it seems like the background checks have to get better.

That ain't no shit. Ridiculous how lax the NICS can be. Prohibited people try to buy a gun, a damn felony, and nothing happens to them.

I'm not getting into gun laws, but in this case it's also possible he owned the guns before displaying any signs of a mental health issue. Especially if it has any connection to CTE from playing football.
