I had no idea there were so many Star Wars Indie films out there. You'd think Darth Lucas would shit kittens and throw his money at blocking these efforts. Here's a Spanish one....

These are way darker than the Star Wars I know. Good for the people putting them together.

Someone's trolling.

http://starwarsunderworld.blogspot.c...e-is-hill.html

Thanks to our friends at Making Star Wars we have this unintentionally funny report by ABC7 on Star Wars Episode VII. They claim to have "new information from Lucasfilms, and our parent company Disney" about Episode VII, and that is is "also know as "The Hill'".

Say what now?

Okay, obviously there's no way this information could be correct. "Star Wars Episode VII: The Hill" sounds ridiculous. But let's take a step back; could there be any truth to this at all? We know that fake names have been applied to Star Wars films in the past. Return Of The Jedi took on the name "Blue Harvest" to hide filming locations, George Lucas jokingly deemed Attack Of The Clones to be "Jar Jar's Big Adventure" during it's production, and Episode VII has already been rumored to bear the faux title "Foodles". Could The Hill be another joke title? Or is this just a typo in these Reporter's teleprompters?

I'm way late to this party but outside of the films, what are some other good things to watch/read that deal with the main SW canon or lore?

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

It's actually FUN. It's almost like watching old Flash Gordon serials since they're so short.

The humor isn't ****ING STUPID either. The Battle Droids are hilarious.
Jar Jar is pretty awful still. Thankfully, he's very limited in his role.

I'm on the 3rd season of this. Started last week. It's actually REALLY ****ING GOOD.

Still, it's not as good as the 2003 Clone Wars that came on Cartoon Network. THAT SHIT IS BADASS.

Mace Windu kicking ass is amazing. The fight scene between the Sith and Anakin is great. General Grievous is a total ****ing badass, and kills a LOT of Jedi.

I stopped after season two of clone wars. After all the comments here about it getting darker/better I picked it back up. Season 5 was hands down the best. Honestly, many episodes through season 4 became background noise for me. It all turned around in season 5.

And then there was...

...the moment.

You'll know it when it happens.

"You, have become, a RIVAL!"

Season 5, Episode 16. The Lawless.

**** I'm going to go watch that scene again. As much as I feel seasons 1 - 3 wasted my time, that scene made it all worthwhile. Just ****ing epic.

Spoiler!

Most definitely!

That story arc was one of the best of the series!

How could anyone not love...
Spoiler!

To me, that was the end of the "good stuff". Season 6 seemed like a setup for...

Spoiler!

...thanks to season 5 I'm actually interested in seeing what happens next and where some of my favorite characters go.
