Thank god for Mahomes. I was just looking at the Carr/Grapes acquisitions. We would have been ****ing amped for that a decade ago.

I mean you remember what happened when we went from a disaster like Cassel to a merely average QB like Alex Smith, right?

And had we replaced Alex with ANOTHER Alex, 'amped' is not the word choice I'd use for what the reaction 'round here would've been...

I hadn’t realized this, but the rest of MVS’ guarantees in his 2nd year became guaranteed on March 17th. 7 out of 11 mil. Looks like Veach was SO desperate to move on

People are ready to move on from MVS. And I don’t get it. It’s a fair receiver contract and we don’t have a deep threat to replace him with. Not to mention the one time we really had to lean on him, he showed up big.

It's 11 million, that's not awful for what he brought to the offense. It will cost 10.4 against the cap if we cut him. He's not going anywhere unless it's in a trade.
