When we play NE again Andy needs to bitch about the 0 penalties non-stop.
Give the NFL a notice. |

This thread makes absolutely no sense when you consider NFL owners control the NFL and most of them don't like the Patriots anymore than we do. Goodell isn't friendly with the Patriots either.. . To make an accusation that they would try their best to make sure the Patriots win is ridiculous.
Quit your crying.. They are just good at what they do. There have been other NFL dynasties and dynasties in the NBA too. It happens. Get over it. We can be better with Mahomes if we build the right D. They'll be another dynasty after the Pats more than likely. That's just how sports is the best teams who can keep the best player(s) tend to dominate for a long time. Look at the NBA with the Warriors right now and how long LeBron won the East. Cowboys/Bulls in the 90s but eventually all things come to an end. Dumbass conspiracy theorists will believe anything if it fits their agenda. Smh... |

To be fair they had one negated against us for a no contact defensive holding.

Except that Each NFL team receives an equal share of the league's "national revenue" -- primarily money from television deals, but also league-wide sponsorships, licensing and merchandise sales. So teams like the patriots, Steelers, etc just make the league more money when they are relevant. Games may not be fixed outright, but you better bet your sweet little tush that the league “helps” certain teams along with calls here and there. |

Fans act like the owners view their teams like they do. Do the owners want their teams to succeed...sure. Do they want the NFL to grow so they continue to get free millions every year even more...yes. Having posterboy in the SB is good for business...Bortles, not so much. Advertising is how they make the bulk of their money...and to ensure it continues they need high ratings. TB provides them with viewers. It's not very complicated. |

The real reason for this new QB rule is after Rodgers getting knocked out for the year...The NFL is trying to sustain the careers of Brees, Rodgers, Big Ben, and Brady...Those are their moneymakers. The league is in panic mode because there hasnt been a new superstar QB enter the NFL since 2005....Luck being the closest.
Mahomes has bucked that trend ...and why they are hyping the living shit out him. What would the AFC look like if Brady and Ben retired after this season? Last edited by BlackOp; 10-20-2018 at 05:29 PM.. |

I don't think the league tells the refs not let certain teams win. I think that there is just a significant Jordan Effect in the NFL like there is in most sports leagues. Tom Brady gets the calls, an NFL dynasty(pats) will get more calls. I think there was a noticeable difference in the number of calls we received as soon as Mahomes hit the News cycle.
Our defense sucks, our secondary really sucks and even the refs know it. I also think that many of our defensive coaches suck. I understand that some people disagree with me but our defense plays stupid and that usually indicates coaching. Less talent doesn't mean that your players can't know what they are supposed to do. Motivation, Intensity and other fundamentals don't disappear because you aren't as talented. They disappear because you aren't coached well or the players have lost confidence in their coaches. It's time for the coaches on the defensive side of the ball to hit the bricks. If for no other reason than to reinvigorate the defensive players opinion about the coaching. Andy isn't firing his son so it's a pointless conversation. |

That's actually true. They lost there in 15 and last year to Cutler. The 15 loss is because they wanted Manning to have home field in Denver for his final ride.

There it is! Goodell held Gronk out! The fix is in! for... something...
Or - Gronk being held out! The refs will be working extra hard for the Pats this time! I mean - The league wants the Bears to win the keep the NFC north close! I mean - The league wants the Pats to lose to set up drama later in the season! I mean - The league wants the Pats to win without Gronk to make Brady look even greater! I mean --.... Something will happen that proves this is all rigged!! |
