KC BBQ sauce as a gift

I’m looking at getting my brother in law some BBQ sauce from KC for Christmas. Which brand is the best?

**** you, KC Masterpiece assholes because I know it’s coming.

Jack Stack?
Gates?
Joe’s?

Night of the Living for spicy.

Jack Stack's for regular.

One outside the box thing I like to do is when making home made pizza, use Jack Stacks' sauce as the base. We had a gathering of friends over at my place, and we had a pizza making contest. The one I made with the Jack stack sauce was by far the most popular.

Gates (hot) and Jack Stack (spicy) are by far the best.

Have a buddy that owned a bar. He would take ribeyes and cook them in his pizza oven to a perfect medium rare, let them cool, and slice them into strips. Put them in a Ziplock with gates hot. Man those were tasty.

Stubbs spicy is pretty good. Finding sauces without HFCS can be tricky. I like the spicy sauces however I know plenty that like the sweet stuff. Bryants is an acquired taste, the vinegar is a different style.

Bryant's original is certainly an acquired taste. Its fabulous or brisket, but that's about it. It's a bright red color and is kind of sour. Has lots of paprika in it. They make a sweet sauce that's more like a Memphis style that's much better on poultry and pork. Personally I love both, but I grew up used to Bryant's original. Lots of people hate it. But if you don't there's nothing like it.
