1. Racist people don't have the friends and family I have. People don't have the trauma I had so early without, like, filtering basically all of their life's experiences through that trauma.

Sorry I've got a small case of C-PTSD. Since I'm sure you know what that means, I'll explain for the peanut gallery : it means that when I'm 'triggered', the 3 year old who got molested shows up emotionally to deal with things.

2. What the **** do I care? Just words on a screen. The handful of people on here that actually know me probably just laugh and shake their heads. Hell, at this point, I'm standing on the corner, watching everyone else spin out all around me.

But if I can raise awareness about men's mental health, even just amongst my circle and here on CP, and destigmatize it in any way...if journaling my ups and downs over the past decade on this site has any effect at all, I could only see it being that if one person reads the things I've posted and decides that they're crazy for reading that shit and they need help or whatever......if we can have honest conversations about men's mental health and we can destigmatize it just amongst ourselves and in our own circles...then the oversharing was worth it.

If that destigmatizion results in even just one person getting help who wouldn't have otherwise...then it was REALLY worth it.

Like, our veterans and police officers are ****ing offing themselves in RECORD numbers. About 20 veterans commit suicide a day,

Every. ****ing. Day. And I don't care what ****ing color they are, we can do better.
