Donks will be in purgatory for the next 10 years regardless of who the QB is.
The family infighting for control of the team, revolving coach door, Horse Face, the players giving up- The list goes on and on and on. Hard to believe how far things have fallen since the Pat Bowlen era.

Can't say I'm not enjoying it. Bastards gave me 20 some years of heartburn.

I believe this was the season before Herbert declared...and he drafted Lock. I know I heard Elway and Herbert tied together somewhere a while back...but it wasn't this draft. ..that Horseface was "enamored" with his arm/height.

As par for the course...HF couldn't escape the used car salesman in himself...and went on the cheap with Lock....got draft "value" for the 2nd round pick.

The irony is if the hadn't picked Lock...they probably dont go 4-1 to end the season. They barely won all those games with the exception of Houston....would have been in position to select Herbert...

This makes me happy...Its already going on half a decade and counting...

The one good thing for them is Mongo is actually a competent tackle this year. Not surprising since it’s a contract year for him.

Yea, but they declined his option, so it’s not completely a good thing.

They have to make some decisions with Simmons, Von, and him this offseason.

This is a hilarious and layered issue that popped up out of nowhere. Johnny Highball has garbage at both tackles for 5+ years, drafts Mongo and a series of expensive FA failures at RT, Mongo play like Mongo, Johnny appears to make the smart decision by declining 5th year, Mongo (somehow...I'm still in disbelief) become legit NFL LT. Mongo become expensive problem, Elway drink more scotchies.

Broncos are irrelevant to football these days. They have no stars and not worth watching.

I think this is Von’s last year in Denver unless he takes a big paycut. The one quality Fangio has is his ability to coach defense. They’ve been fine without Von and can use the money elsewhere.

They are a giant mess on offense. Sutton is done this year, Fant can’t stay healthy, Gordon is a drunk, Lindsay is constantly hurt, Lock is a broke dick and they keep changing offensive philosophies. Their OL is still below average too.

Lock has a ton of work to do, but it looks like no matter who the QB is they will have a tough time.

Apparently Elway really wanted Rat Jr but Joe Ellis hates the Rat family and vetoed that move a few years ago. Thank god for that.

"At the direction of its new leadership team, on-field officials have changed the way they enforce penalties -- especially offensive holding -- in a way that is too dramatic to ignore.

The decision has not only helped offenses, by cutting their penalty yards in half, but it also has led to slightly quicker games and certainly less public discussion about officiating."

Well this just makes me all the more pissed at the holding call in the Raiders game.

Apparently the refs in that game weren't aware of this change.
