Cowherd thinks the Raiders are better than the Chiefs

I used to think he was worth a listen. His Baker drama is hilarious and he was right about that. Now I have to rethink all of my opinions. I just don't get it. We're going to destroy them in 2 weeks. Maybe he knows Chiefs kingdom will be angry as hell and the Raiders will want to listen and he'll get all the listeners and clicks.

The media's takeaway from this game isn't "The defense won a game when their offense was down" it is "Rivers gave it up, Chiefs suck lol"

His power rankings:
10: Chiefs
9: Raiders
8. Cowboys
7. Vikings
6. Packers
5. SF
4. Seattle
3. New England
2. Saints
1. Ravens

I agree completely. Lots of homer takes in here.

Despite the win against the Chargers Chiefs do not look like a great team right now and Tyreek is starting to look like he is made of glass. Chiefs should be alright against the Raiders due to bye week but I'm not confident in this team at all.

No he doesn’t... that guy is one of the most transparent clickbait merchants I’ve ever seen, always doing a complete 180 on what he’d just doubled down on 24 hours prior

I’d rather listen to cats fight before giving him another second of my time

Raiders have a “positive trend line” based on what?

The fact they barely beat the hapless Bengals last week?

The fact they barely beat the Chargers the week before that? Interesting how when the Chiefs beat the Chargers in a similar close manner it is considered an unimpressive victory.

And before that the Raiders barely beat the Lions in Oakland (similar to how the Chiefs held the Lions off in Detroit).

I think the guy is a ****in clown, but saying the Faid is better than us right now is something you could argue. They are ascending some and we're well, definitely in need of a bye week to get shit back together again.

Meh, that's what they all hear and repeat for ratings.

We know what the best team is, and it's not close if they play to their potential.

ESPN & NFL Network postgame analysts like the faid to win the division. Yet depending on the model, Chiefs have an 85% to 95% chance of winning the division according to those same networks.

I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that the Raiders are overachieving while the Chiefs are underachieving, but people just see them with almost identical records. Grudens doing well with the talent he has while Andy is not. These things usually straighten themselves out.

Another way of looking at it is the Raiders are playing at their ceiling while at the same time the Chiefs have been playing at their floor. Again, these things straighten themselves out.

Agreed it is relative based on expectations and how both teams were playing earlier in the season.

Cowherd is an idiot. Probably never even seen the Chiefs or Raiders play. Just stirring up shit for ratings.

He is quite the opposite of an idiot. He is smart, and knows exactly how to tweak people for ratings.

The irony of a fanbase of a team which hasn't been to the SB in 50 YEARS citing the law of averages.
