Anyone here in Minnesota and wanting to earn some cash?

My firm is working on a research contract in Minnesota and I need some people to stand around outside for a couple of weeks. It's pretty easy work doing observational research (watching people and taking notes, so no talking to people and no covid risk), and it pays $18 an hour. Real cash, not casino cash.

If this sound like something of interest, pm me.

Is this the kind of thing a person could fake doing but say they did do it?
If so, you would probably get a lot more people to sign up.

In college, I signed up to be a "Mystery Shopper" and had to go to a bunch of bank branches to observe stuff and report on it. One on the list was like a 90-minute drive and I was getting tired, so I just imagined what I would have observed and reported that.

Sounds better and better, Mr. Rain Man.

What about loitering fines and vagrancy bail money?

Included?

That's stealing! THIEF! In Madagascar, this would cause an angry mob to beat you with sticks.

We do have controls to be sure no one cheats, though.

The beauty of our system is that we don't hang around long enough to be arrested for loitering or vagrancy. We loiter just long enough to do our job.

Yeah, but we don't pay as much for that.

I would hope the offer of some Fil A would still be given to the observer observing the observer.

Can I wear a tasteful Tilley hat for protection from the Midwestern sun? Do I have to take it off to eat?

The suggestion is to take it off when dining inside. Like at a place you would sit down. I wouldn't probably think to take mine off in a McD's or some shit, but something like Red Lobster or some shit I would and would.

The Tilley hat is definately not my thing and I totally posted this in the wrong thread.

I’ve been to Minnesota. The dells, actually. Best cheese curds on the (not Chiefs) planet. Sorry that this doesn’t help in advance.

My experience with Minnesotains is a College Prof and a Hay Buyer. They both paced back and forth while speaking to you and stare at the ground. I can imitate the accent very well and blend in.
