I'm not sure why we think releasing Pringle has anything to do with Hill's status. It's just a straight swap with DAT coming of suspension.

They said they want to re-sign Pringle, though.

I figured it'd be Ryan Hunter...kind of surprised.

Pringle sucked. He got cut because he wasn't good enough to make an NFL roster so they got rid of him.

If need be, they'll scoop someone up from the practice squad or the street.

The Pringle fascination really should go down in CP Lore alongside that shitty RB during the Marty era. This guy was the heir apparent to Sammy Watkins. We had people actually citing him in threads suggesting we trade Tyreek Hill for a CB because "We have WR depth!!!"

No, this means nothing regarding Hill. His presence/absence does nothing to make Byron Pringle an NFL caliber player.

You are correct, sir. But yet T. Smith remains on the team.

They told you, Tremon Smith and DAT are better special teams players than Byron Pringle and for a 5th/6th WR stuff like that matters.

Also Byron Pringle isn't even young, he's the same age Sammy Watkins is.

Perhaps Smith is still on the roster because the Chiefs are concerned about kick returns, since Hill also returned punts?

If it gives Hardman starter reps they'll yank him from returns, they don't seem cool with a starter doing kicks.

This (bolded) is not good enough to win the SB.

When Claiborne comes back he's at least a vet that will understand how to play the scheme, that a lone makes him better than Ward.
