One thing that really stands out is how much quicker green drops back. That's what's scary about mahomes. He still has plenty of areas where he can get even better. The footwork stuff is fixable. Green, on the other hand, can't be coached to be more mobile and have better arm strength.

This is going to be a fun ride.

I think Pat added that little roll to his dropback to get away from potential pressure, though.

I wonder if that's a feature and not a bug, though you'd think dropbacks should be static.

Deeper routes; if he wants to set and fire right at the top of his dropback, then his dropback is gonna have to be deeper to give those routes time to develop. The rollout is to take advantage of the down blocking.

I think that was absolutely a part of the play design.

9/11/05 -- Season opener against none other than Herm Edwards.

With that kind of front row seat, of COURSE Herm was our head coach the next season.

Oh Carl...

Amazing time to have this kind of tech when you have a QB like Mahomes. Remember my dad saying that the tv just didn’t do Favre justice back when I was kid. Didn’t show how just how talented he really was.

This is incredible. Every damn angle.

I think it's a little bit of both. We're looking at a seasoned qb vs one whose played half a season. Green is going to have quicker recognition and better footwork. My point is moreso that mahomes for all his dominance isn't even close to the top of his game yet.

You have to wonder how they can do this shit, but can't get a replay angle for a ball spot.

It takes time to render that kind of 3D presentation. I'm guessing there are hundreds of frames in there that are rendered whole cloth just based on extrapolation of available images.

Not nearly enough time between plays even with a ref timeout, and if you notice all of these are done with very wide angles...they lack the ability to do this on close up images right now I would guess.

KC wasn't up 21 points with a quarter left. You can't just run the ****ing clock out on an 18 point halftime lead.

You can't blame 0 second half points on the running game. KC wasn't in position to just run clock in the 3rd quarter. They still needed their QUARTERBACK to make plays.

And that same QB STILL had the ball in his hands with a chance to win at the end and he ****ing blew it.

Stop making excuses for him. 0% chance Mahomes blows that lead with the same playcalls. Alex plays SCARED when he has a lead and becomes ultra mega conservative, and if often leads to 2nd halves where he has 40 yards on 12 attempts and the team goes 0 for whatever on 3rd down. It's a PATTERN. We humans are pattern recognizing animals. Recognize this pattern!
I hate Smith as much as anyone. I hated the fact that we traded anything for him at all. But those playoff losses were not his fault.

Against Indy we started the second half up 21 points. 3 minutes into the second half we were up by 28 points. With 27 minutes left in the game we were up 4 touchdowns. With 19 minutes left we were up by 17 points. With 5 minutes to go we were up by 6 points.

Reid called 9 running plays in the second half. 9. NINE RUNNING PLAYS IN THE 2ND HALF. That is not Smith's fault. I know it sounds disgusting, but Smith played very well in that game. Well enough to win. He was 30 of 46 for 378 yards 4 TDs and NO picks.

I hate Smith but how can any intelligent football fan look at that game and blame it on anyone other than Andy Reid?

Against Tennessee we were up 21-3 at the half. At the end of the 3rd quarter we were up 21-10.

In the second half Reid called 5 running plays. 5. FIVE RUNNING PLAYS.

How can you blame anyone other than Reid for the Tennessee loss? 5 true running plays in the second half with an 18 point lead. I'm sorry, but that loss is completely on Andy Reid.

Yes, he is an offensive genius now that Mahomes is tearing up the league with his awesomeness. But that doesn't change the fact that Reid has mismanaged the clock and his timeouts his entire head coaching career.

Mahomes amazing play so far this year doesn't excuse the bad coaching Reid has done in the past. Fans are acting like he Reid has never made a mistake because he is helping Mahomes to an MVP season.

I will always hate the fact that Alex Smith was our QB, but I will always remember his prefessionalism in the way he helped Mahomes. I will always be grateful to Reid for being part of the brain trust that drafted Mahomes, but until he wipes away the crushing playoff losses he is responsible for, I will never be fully bought into his greatness.
