***Official Draft Tyler Wilson Thread****

...might as well get this started early.

Perhaps his injury well allow him to slip to the middle of the of the 1st round,..where we tend to draft.

Geno is thought to be a early 1st rounder and that is the reason he didn't go to the Senior Bowl. The player with the most unknown right now is Barkley. Word is there are teams that have rated him fairly early in the 1st round but others clear back to basically the 3rd round. Barkley wasn't going to risk the chance of hurting his draft stock. We will know his fate when it comes to the Combine and Pro Days.
Pretty good post right here.

I also think most of the NFl guys probably have Geno firmly in the top 15, which is why he didn't go this week.
Boom. Stop with your chemistry, Ochem, and bio-based logic.

It really shows that it's really stupid to have all these mocks this early, especially guys who don't even look at what a team needs.

And this BPA talk Dorsey and Reid have been saying, yeah, people here in KC have no clue what that really means.

I will give props to, and the guy normally is a douchelord, Kietzmann. Dude is banging hte QB drum hard and loud.

Yup. I haven't listened to 610 in a while and that was the first sports radio station I listened to. Sad.

Well, Mitch doesn't really know much about "football". He does, but he doesn't.

Mitch knows football but it is well known he has no clue about the draft. It is the same issue every year.

Btw good write-up on Wilson by OptimumScouting for today...

-Easily the best quarterback of the group, Tyler Wilson continued to excel in processing post snap information, accessing the full field with his reads and generating velocity with an effortless throwing motion. The best throw of the day, came on a hitch-and-go, where Wilson drove the ball close to 40 yards on a tightened arc, with ideal velocity and placement on the back end. More importantly than making all the throws, however, was Wilson’s internal clock and understanding of when to pull the trigger down the field or work to his check down.

Geno needs to start generating some buzz or Tyler Wilson is going to steal the show.

Hes a really athletic TE, was probably one of the faster TEs in college football and our passing game was a lot better when he was healthy. He missed a lot of the season but was still our 2nd leading receiver. He needs work on his blocking but i think he can be a really good get in the mid to late rounds

We need to draft Wilson or Smith early or Dysert late, and I would be happy

I'm a big Geno fan.

That's the guy I want with the first pick.

I think you can improve accuracy with coaching, but you can not coach a guy to throw with the same kind of accuracy that Geno already does.

I also believe that good coaching to improve his lower body mechanics will improve his arm strength substantially, and he already possesses enough arm strength to make all the NFL throws.

That being said, I would be fine with Wilson with the pick.

He's incredibly tough and gritty, which inspires those around him.

He has a plus arm, and can make all the throws, and is plenty accurate.

Either way, we win.

I have been reading nfldraftcountdown takes on the Senior Bowl. FWIW, Scott Wright seems to think that Glennon is easily the best QB down in Mobile this week.

He has had some good things to say about Wilson too, but it seems to me as if he has Wilson ranked 3rd out of the 6 QB's right now behind Glennon and the dude from Syracuse.

WTF? Does he say ANYTHING about Albert? Does he even ****ing acknowledge his existence on the team? He's close to the team and the coach, he has to know that Andy Reid REALLY wanted to draft him for the Eagles, right?

Right?
