I'll say this...Mahomes is going to earn the MVP award in the final month. The NFL has it's media mouthpieces in full throat...collectively painting a narrative for a KC loss against an inferior opponent on the road and the officials have been "instructed".

The whole tone of that video segment made it sound like the Chiefs are on the ropes...against Lamar Jackson at Arrowhead? They have only been outscored by 6 points all season...and both games had sketchy officiating.

NFL corporate wants the Chargers to win the AFCW...and get HFA in the worst way. LA has had 3 straight games with controversial officiating... they arent even trying to hide it anymore.

I get the LA angle somewhat, but why would the league want the Chargers to have homefield advantage? That dinky stadium holds less than 40,000 and road teams could arguably get 25-30% of that stadium represented by enemy fans.

If the league want ratings and viewership, the Chiefs get to the Superbowl because of Mahomes. He is the new elite QB face the league can milk for 10-15 years. Small market be damned, there is no denying he has/will attract new fans to not only the Chiefs, but the league in general.

Rams/Chiefs Superbowl would be most watched ever.

Yeah I'm sure the NFL is just dying to have the chargers host playoff games in their 20,000 seat soccer stadium.

They are trying to establish a home market for the Chargers...it's a last ditch effort get people in the LA market to bond with this team.

It will be in the news/media/papers...right now, no one gives a flying **** about the Chargers.

It's a pretty desperate and transparent thing the NFL is trying to pull...There is part of me that wants them to succeed in an all LA SB...so ratings can be terrible and the entire city can rally together to hate the Chargers.

Chargers vs Saints might be the SB play....Rivers gets to avenge Brees for beating the Rams.

Yeah the NFL really favor the chargers. Guess that explains them being bottom 10 in both penalties for and against.

Quantity doesn't trump quality...I'm assuming you didn't watch the the Chargers/Denver game?

Let me recap it...

Chargers have the game...and Rivers being Rivers chokes and spikes the ball...killing the clock. Keesum hits two big gains in a row...then on a pass that gets them into winning FG range with :37 seconds left...the refs panic and call OPI. There was nothing..at all..that warranted a penalty. It's one of the most glaring attempts to influence an outcome that I've ever seen. If you're going to call a game altering penalty with under a minute...you better, sure as shit, have a legitimate one.

It cost the Donks 22 yards in position and knocked them out of scoring range.

The NFL dodged a serious shit storm..as Keesum hit his third long pass and Denver kicked the winning FG.

If Denver lost this game...things would have got seriously ugly.

Then fast forward to the Steelers game...officials gave them 14 points and this time there WAS controversy.

Sure but the $tealer$ hold on every play and they never called that. Guess it evens out. Or do you not think the Steelers hold every play anymore?

Dude..I posted a week before that game that the officials would be confused on which team to cheat for. I predicted it would be one of the rare instances that Pittsburgh gets jobbed by the refs...at home.

I was right..

Just too clarify..I'm only making these posts so people, at least, have an eye out for this shit.

I want evenly officiated games...that arent steered to maximize profitability. NFL is clearly overstepping its already questionable boundaries...

So if refs were cheating for both teams that's means the game was evenly reffed right?

Not that night... Quite frankly, I've never seen the Steelers get reamed by the refs at home. Have you...has anyone? I was basing my officiating prediction on 2018 patterns that were out of the norm....and this was extremely out character.

They were 174-0-1 when leading by 16 points (at anytime) at home...so at least 30+ years. It was a historic game...

This is my "official" conspiracy theory...so put on your tinfoil and humor me.

NFL knew of the Hunt video but didn't want the PR backlash of another "woman abuse" situation. They didn't expect KC to be this competitive back in Feb. It's why they squashed it and told KC to stop pursing any further information. Once Gorden went down...they had to decide which was a bigger priority?. Chargers success in LA or small market RB.?..Amazing that the "leak" coincided with the Chargers RB going down in the same week. Someone at NFL corporate leaked the video to TMZ at the worst possible time. It gave KC zero time to adapt and travel 1500 miles the next day. When KC amazingly won (I thought they would lose..and so did the NFL)...they resorted to insuring LA would win at all costs, on the road, in Pittsburgh.

NFL corporate has been working overtime to keep the Chargers afloat...it's absolutely their #1 priority...even over Mahomes being the new darling.

This is ALL about the advertising/network revenue...and seeing to it...that a 20 million person market succeeds having two games a week..

People need to step back and think about what that means...one LA game potentially reaches more viewers than 20 KC games in their respective market.

After the Rams game..I was seriously considering starting a "go fund me" campaign...to hijack all the billboards surrounding Arrowhead. To bring awareness/pressure on the NFL to quit steering outcomes.

"Can we get a fairly officiated game"...would be the the slogan.

It would make national news...and the general public would start to watch to KC's post-season a little more critically. Bring the heat to the NFL..

I dont live in that area...would be an awesome idea for someone locally. I'll donate $100 bucks.

We should be fine. Can't see Ravens offense being able to keep up especially it being a home game.
